He maintained daily communication with pictures and videos to update us on how our boy was doing! He kept us in the loop with what their agenda was for each day and it gave us so much peace of mind. He truly gives you everything you need to help your dog succeed. Ruger is our wild child, but Dakota seems to truly work with each dogs unique personality to fit the training. He also gave us resources to go home with to properly keep up with training at home. Other than the 5 star training and communication, his facility is very clean and spacious and he got a bath the day he went home so that was one less thing off our to do list. I did the 16 day board and train for my 11 month old Rottweiler puppy Nero. He had some food aggression, was beyond stubborn, and just some general issues with manners. To say the result are amazing would be an understatement. Nero came back not only a completely different dog but with a much better foundation to add to. We took our young, highly reactive and untrained rescue dog to Dakota and weren’t sure what to expect but lo and behold he’s come out of training miles ahead of when we brought him. Dakota had our dog calmly sitting and staying put out in public and walking nicely around on a leash. Neither were things we could have imagined our dog doing. Dakota also trains the owners so we can return home with our dog and know how to continue on with the training and keep that good behavior going. Wow! Where to even start? From the first puppy class my girls were in love with Dakota. He is gentle and firm with consistent and calm training. One of my dogs is extremely stubborn and I was worried that she wouldn’t be able to do training. Dakota never gave up on her, but adjusted his approach multiple times until he figured her out. Dakota will bond a relationship with your dog in less than three minutes,and once you see him interact with your pet you’ll realize he loves your pet probably more than you do. Dakota‘s commitment to detail while working with your pet is remarkable in two short weeks my German Shepherd(and we all know, German shepherds can sometimes have a mind of their own) was obedient and performed all of the commands flawlessly. Called about getting our pups a bath as they no longer fit in our tub. Dakota let us head right over. He provided everything we needed, including soap, a brush, nail clippers and a blow dryer. He was even willing to help them get used to the blow dryer so they wouldn't be scared. He also played with the dog that wasn't in the tub while I was washing! Just went to Liberty K9 to give my pup a bath….This place is AMAZING!!!! 10/10 recommend! FINALLY somewhere close!!! I was driving all the way in Springboro just to give my dog a bath and it became a hassle. He is located right beside the car wash in Waynesville. Extremely clean, the owner Dakota is very polite, the shower is walk in so you do not have to lift your dog into a shower. He supplies the soap, a dryer and brushes😊 we brought towels as well. The awesome part is the hose sprayer has a soap dispenser attached, so you do not have to worry about getting your dog wet, then turning the water off, putting soap on your dog and washing them, then turn the water back on. You just switch the nozzle over and the soap stops and you can rinse your dog! Less

Our dog just recently finished the 16 day board and train program. We were getting very frustrated as a busy family thinking that maybe we had gotten in over our heads with our chocolate lab. I am very impressed with the results and feel very confident that we will be able to continue on with the training at home. Atlas went to board and train with Dakota at 5 months old. Being a German Shepherd, you can imagine how crazy and energetic he was! He’s a sweet boy, he just needed to learn obedience and manners. Our puppy Pepper did the board and train with Dakota at 5 mos. While she really didn’t have bad habits yet, she was very passive and lacked confidence. Now she heals excellently on lead (just glides along side). Before she would lock up and not move. She also stays in sit, down, and place commands in public for extended periods. Lastly she comes when called. We are starting to take her off leash outside which is fun. It’s good to understand it’s not all about the dog and that the parents must learn the commands as well. What’s really cool is we are starting to build an unspoken connection with her where she understands what is expected of her. We consider her training an excellent investment for the whole family where we have a well behaved dog that can be a part of family activities. With her now at 6 mos. it’s amazing how well she does! Her good behavior and training seems to continue to develop with what we learned at the end of the training. So the parents have a role in the dogs success. Less
