Dakota had my dog nova for the puppy classes and I decided to enroll her in the 16 day board and train and the results were pretty amazing. When I sent my dog to Dakota she had some serious reactivity issues and the day I picked her up after her training she is so much more behaved and does so well on the leash now Dakota did a awesome job with her he really does have a way to bond with all these dogs that enters his program. He gives you daily updates which is really nice with pictures and on the day you pick your dog up he is really detailed in explaining everything he taught your dog and he wants to make sure you go home with all these dogs knowledge to ensure you have a good training foundation to continue the success.

I was trained to work with my dog at home and encouraged to reach out with any questions. We've always had a wonderful dog, but now he's a well behaved dog. My 6-year-old doodle was a handful, to say the least. We sent her to Dakota to help with her extreme anxiety and obedience training, and he was more than up for the challenge. He was communicative, patient, and thorough in explaining what he was working on at each stage.I’m so glad he was willing to take on the challenge. She came home calmer and listening so much better. We’re incredibly thankful for Liberty K9 and their willingness to work with her. Highly recommend!

We have an American Akita (Kiedis) who turned 1 in March. Overall he’s been a good dog but we started having some issues with socialization & obedience. I went to multiple training places in person and spoke with several others and decided to go with Dakota at Liberty K-9. I am extremely happy with the progress Kiedis has made in just a 2 week board and train!! This is a very hard breed to train, very stubborn and self-driven (they don’t always like to be told what to do lol) BUT Dakota was able to connect with him and we are amazed at how different Kiedis responds now!! This is him in Lowe’s with just me, and he listened so well and wasn’t reactive at all! Highly recommend choosing Liberty K-9 if you have any issues with your pup!! I was also very happy with the daily communication and photo/video updates as we missed our doggy so much, it was a relief knowing he was in great hands!

I put my dog through the Board and Train program and could tell a difference as soon as I brought him home. My dog responded really well to the training, and it’s been great seeing the progress he’s made.Dakota does an awesome job keeping you updated throughout the process and takes the time to go over everything when your dog comes home. He’s always willing to answer questions and continues to offer support even after the training is finished.Overall, I’m really happy with the experience and the results. We had a wonderful experience with Liberty K9. Dakota is professional, knowledgeable and truly cares about the dogs he trains. We appreciated the daily updates and photos that we received. Our six-year-old mountain shepherd just finished his eight day board and train. The class concluded with a two hour training session for us, the owners. We were very impressed by The skills are dog learned in such a short time! We were also able to zero in on some of our behaviors that might have undermined training in the past. If i could give 10 stars i would! I took my mal to Dakota for a 2 week board and train and my guy came back phenomenal! The dedication and communication from Dakota is top tier! I don’t personally know dakota he was recommended from a mutual friend so i was a little nervous sending my fur baby to him but he made the experience very smooth. He sent video updates daily and i didn’t even have to ask! I will definitely be recommending liberty k9

I would highly recommend Liberty K9! We started at 4 months with the puppy training and at 6 months we did the 8 day board and train. Before training my pup did not listen and was stubborn. Know he is so well behaved and listens to his commands! Dakota is definitely worth it!

Dakota is great at what he does. He took in our cane corso pup Gunner for the 16 day board and train. Kept us updated with pictures and videos during the whole process. Gunner has done a complete 180 from when we dropped him off. He walks right next to us even with other dogs in the neighborhood barking and carrying on. His demeanor and obedience has greatly improved. Its pretty amazing and impressive how much he can do in a short time. Highly recommend Dakota with Liberty K9

Sent my dog Tilly for 24 days with Dakota and she came back with an amazing foundation. Tilly would bark and lunge while walking total change she does amazing in a heel position she’s calmer when we walk! he was able to give her more exposure to people and other dogs truly helped me out so much and Tilly seems to just be a lot more comfortable!

I cannot say enough good things about Dakota from Liberty K9! He was wonderful with our Goldendoodle Gunner. We did the 16-day Board & Train, and worth every penny! The transformation is night and day. Gunner had leash aggression, high energy, and no confidence. I can now take Gunner for walks without pulling me constantly. I get so many comments when I’m out with him from others on how well he behaves around other people and animals. Dakota kept us informed with daily updates, messages, and photos/videos. This was very important to us as we really missed our boy. He took his time in showing my husband and me how to continue the training with the “go home” transition. It’s been just over a week since he has been home, and he continues doing what he was taught. I also know I can contact Dakota at any time for questions that may arise, which is also a bonus.

Took my one year old Husky to Dakota because I was at the end of my rope. He was a wild child and would constantly jump all over anyone that was around. I could never get him to listen to me. He did the 16 day board and train and he is a Differnt Dog! When I give him a command he will actually listen and it is so nice that people can come into my house without being tackled by a white furball! Thank you Liberty K9 ! I highly recommend Dakota! You won’t regret it!

Tuck took both of our purebred German Shepherds (who were only about 5 months old at the time) for the 16-day board and train program, and he did an amazing job with them! One of our boys is very hyper and tends to not want to listen and after getting set up with the e-collar, he’s done a lot better. Tuck was great at explaining the things he worked on with the boys so we could continue working with them at home. Highly recommend him for anyone needing some help getting their dogs in line and better behaved!

Dakota is professional, effective, and compassionate. It’s obvious he cares very much for the dogs he works with and wants them to live their best lives.He gave us daily updates on our dog’s progress along with pictures of her out and about.When we came to get our dog, he worked with us for several hours to teach us how to continue her training. We’ve been home several days and it’s going very well.Our dog is leash aggressive and very reactive, but with Dakota’s training, we’ve significantly improved her walks and encounters with other animals and people. Took our 1yr+ GSD there for training to work on responding to commands better, leash work, and figure out times when he comes off aggressive for no apparent reason.Noticed change right away with the training. Chip will come when called with myself, wife, and kids. Much more confident on the leash and listens great. The Place command has been extremely handy and something new. Highly recommend.
