Dakota is professional, effective, and compassionate. It’s obvious he cares very much for the dogs he works with and wants them to live their best lives.He gave us daily updates on our dog’s progress along with pictures of her out and about.When we came to get our dog, he worked with us for several hours to teach us how to continue her training. We’ve been home several days and it’s going very well.Our dog is leash aggressive and very reactive, but with Dakota’s training, we’ve significantly improved her walks and encounters with other animals and people. I’m so hopeful for her to have the wonderful, reduced stress life that she deserves.

Took our 1yr+ GSD there for training to work on responding to commands better, leash work, and figure out times when he comes off aggressive for no apparent reason.Noticed change right away with the training. Chip will come when called with myself, wife, and kids. Much more confident on the leash and listens great. The Place command has been extremely handy and something new. Highly recommend.

Huge shout out to Liberty K9!This past spring, we were at our breaking point with our Doodle, Sampson. He was completely unhinged, despite trying everything, we were even looking at rehoming him. But we knew we would be missing part of our family without him. Our groomer recommended us contacting Dakota and this summer, Sampson went off to “crazy puppy school” (as the kids called it).He is officially back from the 16 day board and train program and it is like we have a completely new dog! We cannot believe how well mannered he is, gentle with the kids and no longer trying to tackle every person who comes to our house. Trusting Liberty K9 for training was the best decision we could have made for Sampson and our family. 🩵🐾

I have a mini Australian Shepherd puppy with lots of energy and a determined attitude. I’m in my 60s and based on recommendation of a neighbor who had used Liberty K-9. I called Dakota and took the Artful Dodger to puppy training. The difference is amazing. The control, the discipline, the way that Dodge picks up on commands quickly And follows those commands demonstrates how intelligent these animals are but also how skillful Dakota is training these dogs, and how patient he is with the energy and the puppy nature of this little girl. I’ll be continuing training with him in the future because I want to enhance my connection, fun and enjoyment with the Artful Dodger. I would recommend. My standard poodle came home a completely different more enjoyable dog. She’s only 11 months old and now she acts like an adult. Dakota taught her manners. Self control and obedience. He took her places to teach socializing and outdoor manners. I am excited to say I am very happy with everything he did for both of us.Updated review:I am adding to my previous review, Dakota has turned both of my poodles into complete different girls. Miss Isabelle 7 months old was also a student in a board and train . She did very well. Dakota treats the dogs like his own. Both of my dogs are doing extremely well. Dakota did the 8-day board & train with my young golden retriever, Niko, to learn the fundamentals and try to correct some annoying behaviors at home. In the months afterward, Niko has been much easier to handle, still performs his commands well, and I feel like I have a great foundation to build from (half of training is training the owner!). I appreciated the updates throughout the week as well.My dog really seemed to enjoy being with Dakota and working with him. The facility was spotless and I would absolutely recommend him for high quality training!

He was able to take my stubborn, disobedient 3-year-old Pitbull and turn her into the dog I knew she could be.I opted for private lessons because I realized I needed as much training as my dog. Dakota ensured that not only did my dog understand the lessons, but that I did as well. This left me feeling much more confident in my own abilities, which carried over to my dog.The facility is brand new and was absolutely spotless for every lesson. My vet (VCA Beavercreek) was especially thrilled to hear that Dakota required a stool sample prior to training to ensure that his facility stays free of any potential hazards.If you're on the fence, I highly recommend going with Liberty K9. I highly recommend Liberty K-9! I had an awesome experience with my dog, Dallas. He’s a stubborn chocolate Lab and Dakota worked wonders on him. When I take Dallas out in public now, it’s not a pulling struggle anymore. The daily updates and videos are great too. We couldn’t have been happier with Liberty K9 and how our dog’s obedience/behavior improved over the course of 16 days. The difference before and after was dramatic. Our girl, a 9 month Cane Corso, was very difficult to walk on a leash and often struggled to consistently obey basic commands. She’s now great on a leash and does really well with following commands. Dakota was awesome at sending daily photos/videos with updates and still stays in touch to see how she’s settling back into her regular routine. It’s really apparent how much he cares about your pet and is invested in your dog’s and family’s wellbeing. We highly recommend Liberty K9!

I can’t recommend LibertyK9 enough! Dakota is amazing. Our boy Ruger stayed with him for the 16 Day Board and Train program. He maintained daily communication with pictures and videos to update us on how our boy was doing! He kept us in the loop with what their agenda was for each day and it gave us so much peace of mind. He truly gives you everything you need to help your dog succeed. Ruger is our wild child, but Dakota seems to truly work with each dogs unique personality to fit the training. He also gave us resources to go home with to properly keep up with training at home. Other than the 5 star training and communication, his facility is very clean and spacious and he got a bath the day he went home so that was one less thing off our to do list. If your dog is in need of training, you will not be disappointed with Liberty K9!

I did the 16 day board and train for my 11 month old Rottweiler puppy Nero. He had some food aggression, was beyond stubborn, and just some general issues with manners. To say the result are amazing would be an understatement. Nero came back not only a completely different dog but with a much better foundation to add to. He’s in a significantly better position to learn and grow. The training Dakota provided not only for Nero but for me as an owner drastically improved my relationship with my dog and set us both up for success. Dakota was professional and you could tell he genuinely cared for my dog. The facilities were clean and well maintained. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about my experience. I can’t thank Liberty K9 enough for the work that they did.
