Approximately a year ago I started training sessions with Prescription Fitness/Solon. Soon after, twice a week, Jake Vella became my trainer. Jake was integral in preparing me for a trip, this past September, that would require a minimum of 2 to 3 daily hikes, each several miles long, through various terrain and different elevation levels through Zion, Bryce, Lower Antelope and the Grand Canyons. The training plan he established for me enabled me to attain all the goals and expectations that this trip required. Jake was always conscientious of my physical capabilities and made sure I made progress focusing on strength, mobility, balance and flexibility. With his training, I felt confident in my abilities to successfully navigate the numerous and varying degrees of difficulties in the trails we hiked. By continuing to train with Jake, I have maintained a healthy and balanced exercise program. Thank you Jake and the Prescription Fitness Team. Celeste Fischer
