5 ⭐️s, I know what you are thinking… NO WAY, construction companies always come in over time and over budget. And that is normal true, but this time I added two projects once the crew started the repairs. It was my request that caused us to go over-time and over budget.
The crew arrived at 8AM everyday and work until 6/7PM. They cleaned up after themselves every project and everyday. When more supplies were needed, the construction manager, Juan, would go alone, always leaving people here to continue to work. This paragraph alone is enough of a reason to get a quote from FETCH!
Our home was built in 1967; we have worked with several companies and Fetch Roofing is outstanding! Reach out and invite them into your home for a discussion and quote.
What More Details????
Our relationship started with the Great North Dallas Freeze of 1/2026. We had damaged and reached out to our insurance company. When the adjustor came to assess the damages, he brought along the FETCH ROOFING OWNER and Brian Trenholm, Project/Sales Manager. Everyone was professional, kind, and funny. You need humor in these overwhelming situations.
Brian, FETCH, suggested we make a wish list and turn that into a priority list to narrow down what needs fixed the most. We took the weekend to work on the wish list. Then Brian took a few days to work on the quote. And on Friday, Brian arrived with the Construction Manager, Juan to tour the house, each project and confirm the quote for each task.
Brian is an excellent communicator. Put everything in writing. Provided a schedule. Told us to go pick the tile we wanted from “FLOOR & DEVOR” (horrific customer service btw but I digress). And said will see you a week from Monday.
Juan and his crew showed up a few minutes before 8 AM and at once power washed the fence. Rain was due on and off all week. (picture)
Next the crew started on the utility room. The p-trap had frozen and flooded during that 1/2026 storm. They pulled the wet drywall; insulation the trap; put up new drywall; repaired anything else in the utility room; started installed new tile floor and painted the walls and ceiling. I was exhausted watching them work so hard. (picture)
Next up rain. They were re-caulking the kitchen, breakfast nook and living room. **This is where my first addition job request come in… painting the two half walls in the book and the two kitchen walls above the kitchen cabinets. It also included painting 3 window cutout openings. Juan said sure, no problem and basically freehanded the whole job. ** (picture)
Then back to the major fence project.
o Challenge leaning on the back and side no shared with renters.
o Replacing crack boards to make it private.
o Figure out the neighborhood situation. ** THIS IS MY SECOND NEW REQUEST **
o Re-stain fence.
I reached out to the owner in California and was ignored about the dilapidated fence.
They have three dogs that scratch and tear up two sections.
One pit-bull even made it through our board on board.
The renters are using old big screen TVs, chairs, junk, anything to block the fence.
My suggestion to Juan was corrugated roofing on two panels. He said no problem, but then Brian was afraid the dogs might and we do not want that. We love dogs.
Brian had an acceptable alternative to put boards on both sides of the polls. Since we were paying, the got no stain or boosts on board detailing but to straighten the shared line and do their boards made us go $800 over but we are THRILLED WITH THE SOLUTION! Thanks, Brian (pictures)
