I hired Better Water Heaters to replace my traditional water heater with a brand new tankless one from Rinnai. I received multiple quotes from various companies and ultimately chose Better Water Heaters (even though they weren't the cheapest) because they did the best at answering questions about my concerns (I came prepared after doing a lot of research on the products). They came and installed everything (which included running a new gas line to the unit, because the line I had for the old heater wasn't big enough for optimal performance). The installation was cleanly done and 2 weeks in, everything is still working great (I now have recirculation since the Rinnai has a built in pump). I would recommend them and use them again!

Water heater was installed and works great.....however, they included in our invoice the cost for the permit and they still haven't submitted it. It's been over 1 month since installation. Very maddening. It's just paperwork. For a company who claims this as a specialty, the permit should have been the easiest part. ☹️

A very good experience. They came out for an estimate over the weekend, quoted a fair price, and did the work later that week. I am very happy with my new tankless water heater and the service received.

Frans and his team at Better Water Heaters did a great job replacing our water heater. I submitted a request for a quote via Yelp, and Frans provided a real quote and answered my questions thoroughly (unlike multiple other vendors who claimed to provide quotes on Yelp, but didn't and tried to bait me into a phone conversation instead). Frans provided a reasonable quote with an extended warranty option that I accepted. He was very responsive and his team came out to do the work quickly. They did a clean and nice-looking installation and explained the functionality of the new water heater to me. Another thing that I really appreciated was Frans' continued and unwavering support when the city inspector identified corrections that he wanted done before approving the permit. I don't have the knowledge to assess whether the corrections were justified, but Frans and his team made sure they were quickly addressed. The team came out and implemented fixes quickly, then came out again for the reinspection to provide their support. We passed the inspection with flying colors. I wholeheartedly recommend Frans and his team due to the quality of their work, responsiveness, and high professional ethics.

I called Better Water Heaters when I discovered my gas tank water heater was leaking after 14 years of operating flawlessly. Peter was super helpful and quickly replaced it the next day. I was very happy to have a new water heater and no more leak.
