SCAM ALERT! DO NOT JOIN HERE AS A MORTGAGE AGENT! After reviewing other reviews, it becomes clear that this brokerage is unwilling to consider perspectives other than their own, whether from their own customers or mortgage agents. Instead of reflecting on and improving their processes, they opt to disprove their customers and agents, often by falsifying information. I joined here for 1 day. They required the agent to complete several extensive training courses within 24 hours of joining (attached evidences). The agent failed to comply, and chose to leave instead after his integrity was questioned. As a result, the brokerage retained the $600 joining fee paid by the agent. I have attached evidences so you can decide for youself on what transpired here. I am certain that this incompotent brokerage will try and defend this glaringly evident scam as well and not to improve themselves. Reply to the brokerage -> Can you provide ANY evidence to support your false claim? You clearly asked all those trainings to be completed in 24 hours. Clarification only came much later, with continuous finger pointing and without acknowledging your mistake. If you got nothing, just dont respond anymore, take a deep breath, and think about it; why would an agent rush through those extensive training courses when he wasn't supposed to unless he is instructed to? Your story doesn't add up. Less

A couple years ago my daughter applied for a mortgage with myself as a cosigner. A broker by the name of Christa ghosted her for weeks before telling her no (which was fine because she got approved with a local mortgage broker within days after applying with Citadel due to no communication) fast forward 3 years my daughter got her mortgage in her own name and now all of a sudden out of the blue this Christa woman won't stop calling. She has MY number and keeps calling and leaving messages for my daughter. Unreal. I would never deal with a company who has brokers like this working for them. If you want peoples business try communicating from the onset not just people you know you can approve. unreal!!!!! If you treat people right when you can't help them they will remember you later on. Very difficult to just get a quote. They want me to spend hours uploading documentation, including a cra statement (which I've never been asked for from a broker before), and an insurance binder (why would I get this prior to even getting a quote?). Anyways, I'm not willing to put in that much effort just to get a quote when you can get one much easier from many other brokers out there. If it's this hard to just get a quote, I can just imagine how hard it would be to work with your brokers in the future. Also, the response rate is much slower than other brokers. Reply to the brokerage: you never gave me a quote of 4.54%... you never gave me any quote at all. Also, I had to reach out to you after my application as I never got any response from you. The email from your broker even apologized for the delayed response. I think you need to re-read our emails because what you're saying is inaccurate. And what behavior can delay a mortgage closing?! Not providing you with every detail about my life to get a simple quote to see if you can beat the already competitive rate that I have. I don't want to waste my time uploading documentation for nothing.... Leaving an honest review about my experience.... This brokerage is a joke. Red flags!!! Less

My experience was poor and would not recommend based on my experience. My first two mortgage agents quit the company with no notice and eventually my file was passed to a more senior representative. The senior representative was slow on the file (in my opinion), and when I was presented with an agreement I felt pressured into signing before reading it through "look man...most people just sign at this point" . When reviewing I noticed (not the agent) a clause stating that after the 1-yr agreement I would be locked into a 5-yr agreement. The agent assured me this was wrong, therefore I called the lending company who clarified that yes, following a short-term low-interest 1-yr, I would be locked into a 5-yr or pay a penalty. Based on the perceived lack of knowledge from more senior representatives and the pressure I felt to sign without properly reviewing I went to a competitor. Less

Rami the customer assistant was very good and helpful, however: I was told the rate of interest was 3.45%, then 3.7%, then 4.2% in a matter of a week. They should not advertise a low rate to get customers in. The document I was presented as the lender offer spelled my name wrongly, was a template with clauses that did not apply to me, contained unacceptable collateral clause, did not disclose insurance rate for title. It had not been proofread and checked before being presented to me. The secure portal they use to upload client info and documents was bad in that it did not work correctly, did not upload correctly, and caused Rami to put in far more work than was needed. Rocky, I guess Rami's supervisor said to give him a couple of days to look at other lenders, which I agreed to . But, next morning I was asked what do I want them to do as nothing was going to change from the lender's document I was presented with. I think the issue here is that the industry is busy and they are trying to get as many products out of the door as fast as possible. However attention to detail is lacking and its shoddy when quantity is more important that quality, certainly in my case. No doubt they have helped many people in a fine and acceptable manner, but everyone should be comfortable dealing with any service company, I was not here. Less
