LISS is the BEST for orthopedic care. I met Dr. Dowling in 2003 for a neck injury. Dr. Dowling gave me a choice of surgery or cortisone shots. I chose surgery and I could not be happier. Dr Dowling actually performed a hands on examination to evaluate my strength,flexibility, symptoms and pain. Unfortunately a hands on examination is rare today. Majority of Dr's review results or order tests, xrays, CT or MRI etc, while sitting at a computer screen in the room with you and talk to you. What happened to the exam first, while listening to the patient history, possible causes and complaints? And then confirming findings by looking at the tests and determining next steps or what additional treatments might be beneficial. The delivery of Healthcare services has changed drastically over the last few decades and not necessarily for the better in many ways!! The average person doesn't have a clue, or the ability to be an advocate for themselves. So sad. I applaud and highly respect Dr Dowling for practicing in a traditional, professional manner while integrating today's technology. Less
