Obriens Auto
Rarely do I utilize the services of a mechanic or garage to fix my vehicles preferring to do it myself. This is due to my father, who was a mechanic, never using one, or possibly the many horror stories I heard thru the years, or the fact that Iprefer saving the labor fees and doing it myself.Recently, my fuel pump in my 2002 Dodge Durango lost its battle with life and pumped its last bit of gas delivering me to the Acme in Cape May Courthouse. I had sucessfully replaced the pump in my brother in laws 2004 Durango and decided I should allow another person to enjoy this task, not wanting to be greedy.I have lived in the Villas, NJ area since 2016 and have heard good things about O’Brien’s Auto Repair. Occasionally I would be passing their driveway and see the customers leaving , always with a smile and/or cheerful demeanor.I can see why that was based on my using them to repelace my fuel pump. Arrangements were made to transport my vehicle and a day later, after acknowledging it was the fuel pump, i was informed of the cost to replace the pump and at what time I can pick up the car. Very professional family business (a fellow musician too off the record), and very fair pricing.I am very happy I chose O’Brien’s Auto Repair and will spread the good word to other people I encounter needing a good mechanic As I am proud to spread the word. Will need to replace some front end components soon. After a recon of the undercarriage of my Durango, it appears the vehicle lost a flood based battle with rust, corrosion and more rust. Not wanting to deny Jim of the possibility of sheared off bolts, rust in the ears/eyes, and intensive floor sweeping required from all the rust falling off my undercarriage (as with the pump replacement) that will accompany his work activities replacing a ball joint or tie rod end. . . I can sense his uncontrollable anticipation now in fact as he reads this post. Not one to ramble on at the mouth, just want to say Thank You for the professional work you provided to me (and also the community) and am proud to use your services again in the near future. To you the reader, don't take my word alone, stop in for yourself for your vehicle repair needs - Tell Jim that Steve sent you.
