When I first scheduled with Jon, I asked him to “clean the condenser coils on the outside unit and check to see that the evaporator coils were clean also.” So I figured it would take about an hour or so, depending on what he ran into. Which is why, when he gave me a late arrival time of 5:00 pm, I was a bit surprised. But not as surprised as I was when, after doing those two things, he and Cole started to check out our entire HVAC system! And I don’t mean one of those “trying-to-find something-to-tack-onto-the-bill” check outs — because that never happened. But whenever they did find something — say, a reading that deviated a bit from normal — they wanted to know why. To the point that they ended up investing over 3 hours of their time just trouble shooting. And when, about 7:30, I finally said to them, “You guys are certainly earning your money,” Jon replied, “Well, we’ve gotta be satisfied; and the only way to do that is to make sure everything’s right.”Now, when was the last time you heard that principle invoked?

My husband and I met Jon back at our old rental property when our Landlord had him come out. When we needed some help of our own at our new place, we decided to call Jon back. He and his associate Cole were the ABSOLUTE BEST. Courteous, timely, informative, quick at diagnosing the problem, informing and updating along the way and giving us feedback as to what the recommended next steps should be. Good, honest work at an amazing price. Not to mention, they caught a few things the last guy missed! We will definitely have RAD Homes back for our HVAC needs!

Yesterday evening, my ac was not blowing any cold air, and it was hot outside and inside my house! I called up Rad Homes Contracting, and Jon was able to respond back quickly to schedule an appointment the very next day - I sincerely appreciated his timely response to my emergency ac repair situation. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly, explain what occurred on my hvac (it was a capacitor issue), and best yet, his pricing was very reasonable!
