I’m 8 weeks post op from my septorhinoplasty and love my results so much already along with being able to breathe! When I was 16 I remember when I promised myself that I would someday get my chin fixed. I was sitting there in the middle of European Studies. I had a weak chin and it always bothered me. It would often make me depressed if I thought about it too much. Fast forward to my fifties, I decided to finally take the plunge. I found a great place locally and went for the procedure. However, when I woke up they basically told me that I had a heart condition and that they didn't want to proceed for safety reasons. Fast forward again, after a year of working with a cardiologist, medication, and testing I was ready to try again. Unfortunately, the same thing happened. They said my heart was too slow under anesthesia. Ultimately, they declined to work with me.My cardiologist didn't think the procedure would be a risk so I pressed on. I searched and searched until I found Dr. Ponsky. She was several states away and 4 hours from where I lived. I talked with her staff (Michael) and they were open to consulting with me. Dr. Ponsky worked with my cardiologist and had my surgery set up at a nearby medical center. They used just local anesthesia since it was a safer option for me. She had a team of 4 or 5 people and the procedure went great. So here's what I like about Dr. Ponsky. She is specialized to the face so she has a lot of experience there. She's not trying to do everything. Some surgeons I talked with couldn't provide pictures or hadn't done a chin implant in 5 years. Everyone on her staff is super positive and makes you feel valued. You definitely don't feel like a number here. She personally texted me on the night before the surgery to check on me. Since I was awake for the procedure, she was extremely calm, confident, and treated her surgical team very well. And then, she called me the later in the day after surgery. Also, Dr. Ponsky always asks my wife how she is doing every time we see her. The results of my chin implant turned out great. Prior, to the procedure I was worried that the change wouldn't be noticeable enough. But, now I feel like I really have a chin. I am really happy that Dr. Ponsky agreed to work with me. She is very skilled and equally kind.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful experience I have had with Dr Ponsky and her staff. Very friendly made me feel very welcome. I went in for a consultation for my face. I was open to surgical and non surgical procedures. Dr Ponsky explained all my treatment options and I decided to go with surgical. I had a facelift , neck lift, brow lift ,upper and lower blepharoplasty and laser resurfacing. I look twenty years younger. I’m so glad I found Dr Ponsky!
