I've gone to Cortney Norton for 2 tattoos now, and I'll be back as often as I can afford it! She's great - amazing artist, works fast AND gently, and takes the time to get a concept right. I came in with a bunch of disparate ideas and she translated them into truly breathtaking work.Shop is clean, parking is so easy, the other artists seem really cool, and scheduling/checkout are painless. Great selection of snacks. It's a fun, quirky environment that feels genuine. They can have all my skin as far as I'm concerned!.

I have now gotten three pieces done at this shop by the incredible Lilith Jacobs. All three have turned out incredible and I cannot say enough good things about Lilith. She is an absolute artist and if you want a piece, I highly recommend her. The staff as a whole, from the front desk to the management to the other artists are a joy to interact with. The decor is amazing and feels like a space where artists are free to be themselves. Make sure you schedule for when they're playing the entire Shrek 2 soundtrack for extra special ambiance.

I saw Mel Perlman for a keloid coverup tattoo and she completely exceeded my expectations. First off, I love the vibe of the shop. The front desk people are so friendly in a southern kind of way that made me feel right at home. It is so artsy and CLEAN and every artist has their own unique corner. It was fun to be surrounded by other artists and clients too!Mel was super accommodating with my requested changes and simply knew what to do. She nailed the placement on the first try and had a good eye for what flowed with my body.This was my first tattoo and I expected the pain for a chest piece to be relatively high but was pleasantly surprised that I was able to sit through it! While Mel had a gentle hand, she worked with confidence, conviction, and precision. I was amazed that she simply knew how to mix the colors together. Her expertise and confidence helped me to relax and I honestly started to doze off!I also commend her for her willingness to tattoo over my keloid, which I've felt self-conscious about for fifteen years. I now feel the freedom to wear v-necks and scoop necks and all the pretty things and not feel self-conscious! She turned me into a badass in just five hours. I’ve had 2 sessions with Stani so far and have many more to go for a full leg sleeve. The consultation was very detail oriented and he really helped me narrow down what I was actually wanting the tattoo to convey without being busy. Stani has been very patient with me with having scheduling issues. Each session so far has been a great experience, nice conversations, very helpful with explaining the whole process. Looking forward to continuing to work with him on this sleeve. This is the tattoo at the end of the second session for the black and white realistic style.

After years of sketching tattoo ideas in notebooks, I finally had Brian Bennett give me my first - something I didn't come up with myself, but a logo for my fav band. Originally I was going in a bit of a different direction when Brian suggested something that made sense the more I thought about it. What if I didn't like being tattooed and with the piece I originally wanted on my forearm forced me to see it whenever I didn't wear long sleeves? Good thinking, great of him to bring that up. After thinking about it I changed up at the appt. Brian rolled with it, made a few changes to the size of what I wanted and did it. He was cool about it with absolutely zero hassle from him. It came out spot on and I totally love it. My son had Brian tattoo some lyrics which came out great as well. Brian worked with him to pick out a font that tattooed nicely and that gave the look my son wanted. Very cool to watch him work. Will be back for more.

I can't express how happy I am with the black and gray realism tattoo I got from Robert Beeman. I came in for a consult with only a vague idea of the memorial piece I wanted for my mother and no clue on the placement. I felt he really listened to me and was considerate about ideas for design and significance of the placement. The design he came up with was beautiful and strong and a great honor to my mother.Regarding the tattooing itself: He is probably the least heavy handed tattoo artists I've been too. Obviously, after 6 hours, the pain will catch up to you, but he definitely isn't tearing up your skin. And despite all the intricate detail he did, I had ZERO blow outs. He's mindful and accommodating to any needs you have during the session and is really genuine and sincere. He is very easy to talk to and has a lot of really cool interests to talk about if that's your jam. I tend to sit awkward and uncomfortable for a 30 minute hair cut, dreading the small talk, but the first 45 minutes of my tattoo flew by talking to him. And if you want to just sit there and zone out, he's good with that too. Real chill vibes.I put complete trust in him with design, size, placement, and aftercare advice, and I'm glad I did. He obviously knows what he is doing and I'm looking forward to when I'll be able to add to my sleeve!
