Called Jim for service and he was prompt on answering his phone and was very happy to help my husband and I with our roofing situation. He came out the next day like he said and got us all fixed up. We were very impressed with his service and highly recommend him if you have any roofing issues!

We lost almost 2 dozen shingles from a storm. We called Jim. He sent Justin over and he had it done in no time . The price was great as was the quality of the work. They even worked with us on the scheduling (we are up late and sleep in til afternoon. Night owls). Overall a great experience and we highly recommend C &J for your roofing needs

Our roof starting leaking back in late 2018, we got it looked at by our insurance and we made several calls out to multiple roofers. We had a two part project that required the roof to be replaced and restoration to be done. Obviously the roof had to be first . C&J were the only ones to return our calls. They were able to come see the roof and the extent of the damage. We knew we would have to wait until spring as we were in winter and the tail end of roofing season and with the rainy summer we had, it would be a little wait. We waited a good bit of time and we checked back in with them. Our file had been misplaced, I will say that they corrected that mistake immedently by coming out the next day and getting a quote made and with a time line to getting the roof done. We got the roof replaced completely in may 2019 and it was a quick process and they even worked on weekends. They were neat, tidy and amazingly polite and next the restoration. That took a little bit longer then expected as it got placed on the back burner because the restoration was not dire but something that we originally got contracted for and our insurance actually was going to cover. I was in constant contact with Jim during this entire process and was always very straight with me about when they would be out and what jobs they were finishing up. It did take time, but communication was never really an issue, it was all about scheduling. We finally got the restoration to finished up and it looks great and again, they were even out on weekends to get the job done and were always polite and cordial when dealing with us. So yes, it did take some time but I can not stress enough that the work is wonderful, Jim and Mike were great to work with and I appreciated him working with us and staying in contact with us through this whole process. We are very patient people and we are glad we stuck with them. Less

It's been about 2.5 months and I am still waiting on the warranty information - I'll hold out final judgement until I get that and update this, but I am not worried that anything will go wrong at this time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and others - the crew was awesome, respectful, and did a really good job cleaning up. The equipment they used to remove the shingles kept the yard quite clean, and they were all friendly of our two dogs. I haven't found anything that was damaged during the work, including even flowers etc. I plan to keep the review updated - a roof isn't a one or two month thing, its a two or more decade thing. My experience with CJ Roofing was not a good one. I have a "flat" roof over my porch that started to show signs of a leak, so I thought maybe getting the roof rubberized would be a good idea. I contacted a couple roofers to get quotes and C&J was one of them. This was late July 2018. The first roofer said he would not be able to get to it until April of 2019, but C&J said they would do their best to get it done before the winter. The quote came in recommending an acrylic ceramic spray roof and after researching, I thought it sounded like a good option and I liked the cost. The quote seemed professional and at the time I didn't see any negative reviews and only a couple positive reviews. I signed the contract and paid for half the job, $875. This was on Aug 6, 2018. Later, I would learn that the review from Jim Verdier and the one from Lori that were 5 star reviews were from the owner and secretary. Needless to say, even with many phone calls, the job never got started in 2018. Winter came and went and I started pushing to get the job done again in the spring. The excuse was always that they needed about 5 days without rain to do the job and we were having lots of rain. At first, I thought it seemed reasonable, but after some time I started to question it and then called other roofers. Other roofers I talked to said there's no excuse for taking so long and that they should have been able to break the job up and in the end only needed a day or two of dry weather here and there. I shared this information, but still never got a scheduled date and my roof was now leaking pretty good. In July of 2019, I decided to try to cancel the job and get my money back. This was a labored procedure and in the end, I got $700 back and they kept $175 for a cancellation and restocking of material fee. Normally, if I was cancelling within a few months, I would accept this, but after about a year of sitting on my money, never once scheduling any work to my roof and the damage I incurred to my porch waiting for them, I thought I deserved the full refund. Not the case, therefore this review. Since then, I went with another roofer and the roof is done with excellent quality. Funny, it only took another company less than 2 months to quote, schedule and finish the job. They did it a couple days here and a couple days here and there. Lesson learned here is get it written in the contract a due date and if cancelled after due date a full refund should be returned. The bigger lesson, don't bother with this company, walk away. Less

Poor communication, if any.owner seems to have misunderstanding of how customer relations, and business should operate.do not use this company!!! they got some money, never did any work nor ordered what was needed after 4-5 months.years ago this company was reputable, not sure what happened but it went downhill.

Nothing was ever said about it could be less depending on the job. Being told there was a minimum implies it could be more. I don't hold it against anyone for making a profit. It took 15 minutes, 4 nails and a partial tube of roof cement, so maybe having a minimum one size fits all isn't a good practice. Less
