I could not be more pleased with the work done by these guys.They covered the surrounding area with tarps so if something fell it would easily be picked up.They worked hard all day and finished by evening,They were polite and courteous.Someone was always stopping by and checking on things and to see if I needed anything and if I was pleased with the work so far and there was never any question....I am VERY pleased. All my neighbors commented on how good it looked. And I happily told them who to connected for future projects. When they left except for a new roof you'd never know they were there.Even the lights up the sidewalk were put back in place.So, if anyone is looking for a new roof call Ally and set the wheels in motion. JDB Contracting did an amazing job from start to finish! After a storm my roof was in desperate need to be replaced. JDB came out the same day I called them and put a tarp over the damaged area. They gave me a great estimate on the replacement as well. Then they worked with my insurance company to make sure we were able to get the materials at a great rate. The shingles that we had picked out is FANTASTIC! They were able to come out ASAP and had the roof completely removed, replaced, and cleaned up within a day. I would highly recommend JDB Contracting for roof replacement!

JDB contracting was very professional, respectful, and technically superior.My family is new to the Charleston WV area. Upon buying our new house, we knew that the roof needed to be repaired. The JDB Team addressed the needs of our new house In which the roof was showing signs of age and damage. Upon our initial home inspection, I was given multiple options, without the pressure of a sales job. They are very good listeners. I knew I wanted a new set of vents for the bathroom, for example, and their expertise made it a reality.During the work days, they were very respectful and courteous to my family. The yard and surrounding property was well cleaned, and the house looked great after.

After the terrible hail storm in April I contacted 4 roof companies. One never would return my call and the other 3 kept promising to come but wouldn't keep the appointments they made with me. I was about to give up and my friend had her roof replaced by JDB Contracting and recommended them. Tyler returned my phone call and made an appointment. He came on time and took pictures of the damage. He went over everything and answered all my questions. He gave me a detailed list of the work and materials needed to replace my metal roof. The crew came early today. They had a big crew. Everything went smooth. The metal roof looks fabulous. They cleaned up everything. I had a new roof put on in 2020 by another company. They did a good job. But JDB Contracting was even better. Their crew has more people and the cleanup was immaculate. Tyler was very courteous and professional. Definitely give them a call!

I bought a hunting cabin and am converting it into a full time residence in a remote location on top of a hill, with very, even for WV, very poor, gotta drive through a creek bottom, then straight up a steep hill, questionable county maintained dirt road access. I had no idea how hard it would be to get help for a job when I needed it. Two years! Two years of making calls for estimates. All I needed was someone to replace the shingled roof with metal. During the 1st year, 2 companies actually made it to the property for an estimate but I never heard from them again. There was nothing at all during the inspection that indicated they were not interested in doing the job, but it was like a fella I dated 15 or so years ago - flat out ghosted. This year (2025) was a tad better. 5 companies showed up on the property for estimates, 3 of which went silent after leaving the property, and one of those is based less than 10 miles from me in Kenna. That particular fella even posted a video on FB encouraging locals to use and support local small businesses instead of out of state roofers! To say I was beyond frustrated was an understatement. The ones that did communicate with me all pretty much said they couldn't or wouldn't take the job because of access and potential issues with delivery. One even said he didn't want to do it unless I agreed to shingles. In my search for a new roof 16, Sixteen, different companies were contacted (and that was after i started keeping track on an excel sheet). SIXTEEN. JDB Contracting was the one who came through! I heard an advertisement for them on the radio and picked up the phone. When the day came, i could not take off work like i had with some of the previous ones so I couldn't be there when Tyler came out and did the estimate, but he sent me pics confirming he was there & stayed in contact with me the whole time. We set up a time within a few days for a call and he stayed on the phone with me for over an hour answering questions. The day before the job was to start, they called to say the material was getting delivered. Then I was notified later that afternoon that there were problems with the delivery and they would bring it in regular pick up trucks the next morning if they had too. Of course I had doubts, I thought id be starting the search all over again in 2026. But sure as shit, bright & early, they were backing down my very narrow hillside driveway. It took less than 2 full days once they got started. The work crew and their foreman Sam was proficient, productive, and courteous. They minded my gutters and, as my only water supply up here, the rainwater harvesting tanks as well. On the 2nd day the winds picked up and I was sure they'd quit for safety concerns, but they kept plugging along. Tarps had been laid out the first day but any and all debris was picked up and hauled away. In the end I had a few minor cosmetic concerns after they left, but as soon as I brought them up, I got a call back and they were handled promptly with great attention to detail. I absolutely, 1000%, could not be happier with their work and service and would gladfully recommend JDB to anyone who is even considering having their roof addressed. At the very least, it is definantly worth the call.

Everything was great from the start. Tyler L. was our first point of contact. He showed up on time and conducted a thorough inspection. Needed repairs to remedy the leak were minimal and were made in short order. We discussed future maintenance needs to keep our metal roof dry. We will be performing those in the Spring. We appreciate the honest way they conduct business in terms of options, reviewing the inspection, and answering all of our questions.
