We have just come back from our dream wedding in Perugia, Italy. When we began considering getting married in Italy, we knew we would need help with the planning. We found several planners with excellent destination wedding experience and scheduled a number of Zoom meetings.Our first meeting was with Guya. Needless to say, we retained her immediately and canceled the rest of our appointments.We are from New York and wanted to bring our dog with us for our wedding, which was going to be an intimate celebration with just the three of us. Our plans changed several times leading up to the day, and Guya handled every transition seamlessly, with patience, flexibility, and grace.The bureaucracy involved in getting married in Italy is well known to be complicated, and Guya was on top of every detail. She navigated countless communications with the Comune, guided us through every requirement, and even met with us when we arrived a couple of days before our ceremony to make sure everything was handled properly with our time-sensitive legal documents.Her team was no less exceptional. Our interpreter, photographers, makeup artist, hair stylist, and the person she arranged to care for our dog during the short time he could not be with us were all outstanding. Every person she brought into our day was professional, kind, and genuinely wonderful to work with.Our wedding day was beautiful.Guya and her colleagues became an integral part of one of the most special days of our lives, and we are grateful for every moment. Guya was the planner for our daughter's destination wedding outside of Florence, IT. We were very hesitant to host a destination wedding and at the beginning of the planning process were very concerned about costs, trusting vendors, etc. Guya was patient and thoughtful guiding us through the entire process. Dealing with the time change, currency fluctuations, local rules and regulations, etc. She worked very hard to help us find vendors who could execute what we were looking for and watched prices/budget very carefully. She was very knowledgeable about what was available and how to get the very best result. In the end we were blown away by how well it all came out. A beautiful day with many moving parts came together seamlessly and our friends are still raving about it months later. I would whole heartedly recommend Guya as a planner for your destination event.

Guya planned our wedding at Dimora Ghirlandaio outside of Florence and did an incredible job! She was fun/easy to work with, including a visit to the venue and caterer tasting a few months before the actual event. Her efforts produced an unforgettable and really tasteful/elegant wedding, while still being really fun and energetic.In addition to putting together a beautiful event with awesome decorations, band, food, tables, dance floor, etc, her crew was great at wedding day logistics. She was amazing about sourcing the right vendor for the job, she knew where to spend and where to save. Our guests were in disbelief as to how great it all was.Guya also was calm and collected theough the whole process, which is essential .I’d recommend Guya to anyone planning a wedding!
