I had called four companies for quotes and only Matt took the time to explain what was to be done and went over our options. They were quick, efficient, courteous, and the care they took with my property was obvious. The entire team deserves recognition for a job well done. There was one area of the roof that was difficult to access and my wife had concern about losing some cherished trees, but they worked around it like the pros they are.When the work was done for the day, the crew took the time to go and clean up around the house two or three times to make sure they picked up any stray nails and any other debris lying around. We found Solace roofing on Thumbtack and requested a quote. David (the owner of Solace Roofing) responded and met with us to review our roofing needs. After completing a comprehensive inspection of our roof he prepared quotes for a shingle and metal roof. Along with his quotes he gave us detailed explanations along with many samples of the materials for the shingle and metal roofs they install. We entertained quotes from several other roofers that were competitive with Solace but once we determined what we wanted and needed Solace provided us with the best options. Once we made the decision to move forward with Solace it became very apparent to us each day we worked through the process we made the right decision. If we had questions or became unsure of anything along the way (like when we were unsure of the material we chose days before the install) David was there to listen to our concerns, review the materials or offer alternatives and wanted us to be sure we were getting what we wanted and expected. He was always readily available by phone and would even come over and personally meet with us if requested. Once the project was underway the introduction of the office staff of Ixchel and Amy was seamless. They were prompt, courteous and responsive to our concerns and needs, we were always treated as a top priority. In addition, Solace provided a connection to financing that was competitive and fit our budget and needs. Once approved for financing, Solace was ready to go and kept us informed the whole time. The crew was courteous, knowledgeable and completed the roof within a few days. David was on site each day to assure there were no issues and to answer any questions. They have genuine integrity and look out for the customer first ahead of their profits- When asked if a metal roof was the way to go, they questioned whether it was for a “forever home”. When told it was likely not a forever home, Eddy (one of the best, most knowledgeable roofing directors I’ve encountered) advised it would make more financial sense to get a shingle roof which costs much less. It’s hard to find such selflessness and moral fortitude in construction. That AND they cost less than nearly all other companies in the treasure coast. I had a couple estimates for a metal roof and Edberg was the only one to warn me that switching from shingle to metal meant I would also need new gutters. Even when the material was a bit behind, they kept me updated and engaged the whole time. Two down sides were, nobody tells you how loud getting your roof done is so if you work from home, might need to make arrangements for that week.
