It's never an easy decision when it comes to major surgery, so I hesitated a lot and did a lot of research. It's been about 9 months since my surgery and I still feel like I made the best decision. The team at Advanced Bariatrics are genuinely invested in helping people, they held my hand through every process, every form, every payment, every provider I came in contact with. I cannot say enough about how well and how kindly I was treated in the hospital when I was recovering and the surgery was done so well that I was able to just go home the next day. I had minimum discomfort and the team was always there, promptly answering the phone whenever I needed them. There's hands down no other choice in the area that would be better. Do yourself a huge favor and choose this team: theyre respectful of your time and needs, extremely skilled and highly recommended.

I think the best part of the experience was losing a whole Backstreet Boy worth of weight, but the people here are incredible! They treat you like a person; not like a number or a dollar sign. They answer ALL of your questions, but aren’t pushy. They know this is a major commitment and they treat it as such. I actually enjoy my appointments because it’s like hanging out with friends who just happen to give excellent advice. I am thankful for them every day!

I started this journey at 435lbs, I’m now down to 225 and still working at it. I had the gastric sleeve procedure done almost 3 years ago. It’s given me a new lease on life.
