I've been taking drums lessons with Karel for a while now and it's been a really great experience. He's personable, kind and easy to get along with, which makes the activity feel relaxed and fun.He's also incredibly patient and encouraging, even when I'm struggling with something new. He takes the time to explain things clearly, listens to questions and adapts depending on what we need to work on. You can easily tell he's very knowledgeable. He often draws connections and parallels that make tricky concepts much easier to understand.Even when a rhythm or technique is challenging, the lessons stay positive and motivating. On top of that, he is flexible with scheduling when needed, which I really appreciate.Overall it's been a pleasure learning with Karel so far. I'm looking forward to continuing this journey because there's still so much to learn and enjoy.

I’ve been taking lessons at Prague Drum School for a few months now and it’s been a great experience.The teachers are really patient and explain things in a way that’s easy to understand, even if you’re a complete beginner. The lessons are structured but still fun, and I’ve already improved my timing and coordination a lot.The studio is well equipped and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in Prague who wants to start learning drums or improve their skills! 5 stars!

Karel is not only a skilled drummer but also a wonderful teacher. My 7 year old son has been taking drum lessons with him and the experience has been fantastic so far. I used to play drums back in high school and hoped my son would give it a try so we could share music together. It truly feels like we are building a special father and son connection through this journey. Thank you Karel!

Karel vyučuje hru na bicí s velmi organizovaným a osobním přístupem, spojuje techniku ​​s hlubokým hudebním porozuměním. Hodiny s ním jsou opravdová zábava. ☺️Ráda bych také zmínila, že přestože se sem Karel teprve nedávno přestěhoval z Kanady a učí se česky, nijak mu to nebrání ve schopnosti učit hru na bicí, protože mluvíme hlavně jazykem rytmu a hudby.

Taking drum lessons with Karel has been a great experience! He’s patient, easy to work with, and adapts his teaching method to how you learn best. As a bonus, I loved getting to play on his acoustic kit, since I have an electronic one at home.
