Short review: We are thrilled with our new kitchen and large deck addition. The aesthetics, finishes, and quality of the workmanship are exactly what we wanted. Our project started in May 2024 and officially ended in August 2025. I'm giving 5 stars because of the outcome and Ryan's constant quest to make sure we are happy.More context:Home remodeling projects are stressful, and inevitably there will be problems that arise. This was our first big remodel so we were nervous about how things would go. Our project manager Ryan became our partner throughout the process. The weekly meetings kept us informed, allowed us to ask questions, and problem-solve issues. Unfortunately, there were some significant delays due to errors from one of the subcontractors resulting in the project being 6-9 months over the estimated completion target. In addition, communication from some of the subs to Ryan was lacking at times which caused some friction. However, Ryan went out of his way to resolve issues, spent time listening to us, and talking through decisions to make sure we were happy. We are happy with our new addition built by Ironwood. We met with Kelly Anderson, the company’s cofounder. With a fee, he will create a Selections Workbook, where you can select your cabinets, flooring, appliances, light and plumbing fixtures, tile, etc., and get an accurate estimate of what your dream construction will cost. It can be time consuming researching it on your own, but you can hire a designer.What’s informative about completing this Workbook is that you know a realistic price upfront instead of the construction starting and there’s no turning back .After you decide to go with Ironwood, all the tradesmen come over on the same day to the house to see if the construction desired is doable and what they have to deal with.Then the construction starts where you meet with Ryan Jensen, the property manager every week to discuss what happened the week before and what is coming up. He supervises each task and makes sure the job is completed well. Ironwood tries to keep work going through the whole process.We had some miscommunication mishaps and unexpected delays with the cabinet company but was informed of updates and resolved everything going forward. The tradespeople were respectful of our property and skilled in their given trade. They even got along with our dog. We felt comfortable, leaving the house with them working .Ironwood will build your dream home or remodel. Small or big jobs. The company is organized, dependable and trustworthy. We wouldn’t hesitate to go with them again for more remodeling or refer them to potential new clients.

Our kitchen remodel was completed to our satisfaction with excellent quality and craftsmanship. We encountered challenges with communication and attention to detail that were eventually handled well.

We hired Ironwood Custom to remodel our main floor living area in 2020. The work was fantastic and has been awesome.We had an issue with a couple of the self closing drawers not closing all the way. We saw Kelly and Ryan at the home show and mentioned this issue. Ryan knew exactly what the issue was and we made an appointment to come back (5 years after to job was done) he fixed the drawers that had this issue at no charge to us.I can not say enough about this company and the people who are still working for them. This industry seems to have a high turnover over but Kelly seems to keep his crews together which says a lot about their character! Keep up the good work guys!

It's been 8 years since Ironwood Custom Builders completed my add-on solarium and finished my basement, and Kelly Anderson is as helpful and responsive as ever. Over the years for repairs and guidance, I've been able to reach out to Kelly and receive information and help. He is a trusted resource for me and for the family members I've needed to assist.

We did a very complicated whole-home remodel with Ironwood and they were incredible. Ryan was amazing and the communication throughout the project was great. They are very quick to respond to any issues and they go above and beyond to make things right. I would work with them again anytime.
