I was greeted when I walked in. I ordered the curry shrimp (large) and jerk chicken (small). When my food came out, he presented it to me and I was shocked how big the shrimp were and the amount!When I got home to eat my curry shrimp…there were shrimp under the shrimp!! The chicken was so tender!I don’t ever remember eating and saying “mmmmhhmmm” loudly at the same time!Definitely will be back!!!!!!!And the small plate of the jerk chicken gave more than small!!! The K & S Jamaican Restaurant is one of the best we have eaten in a long time. It is family owned. The owner trains each employee with great customer service and you definitely experience it. They cooked the food fresh to order. They also sell other products and sauces. The dining area is an intimate setting. We love their food and come often. Less

Food and service are always excellent! We’ve tried the jerk chicken, jerk wings, jerk pork and beef Jamaican pie. Trying the stew chicken and curry soon. Love the cabbage which is stewed down and super flavorful. We get extra. Each dinner comes with the main, rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. My soon to be wife introduced me to this restaurant one Friday night. She ordered jerk chicken with rice and oxtail gravy that I thought was the best. The next Friday night she ordered the ribs and I thought they were the best thing on the menu. After that experience I was sold and started going by myself. On one occasion I ordered fried chicken which I thought nothing else could top it. However, last week I heard someone mention curry Goat 🐐 which is one of my favorite meals so I had to try their's. I ordered oxtails large, and one vegetable patty for $30. I would say it’s kind of pricey but the food is good. My favorite is the cabbage, oh my gosh the cabbage is SOO good. Like sooo good. The rice tastes good too, but I don’t think I’d get the oxtails again. I feel like its good, but it lacks flavor a bit. Next time Ill get jerk chicken for sure! Also they were out of macaroni and cheese when I went which was a bummer but oh well the plaintains made up for it and the cabbage which they gave me more rice than cabbage. I feel like you have to tell them because it definitely wasnt half cabbage half rice. It was 1/8 cabbage and the rest rice. I wish I took a picture, but I was so excited that I didn’t. My buddy put me on this spot and told me it was the absolute best and most authentic jamaican food hebhad ever had, and hes fat so i know he be eating good food. I stepped in and I heard Bob on the radio. The whole spot smelled like Brown stew and oxtail, my nose was taking it all in and i wanted to try everything on the menu. Curry goat, Brown Stew Chicken, oxtails and Jerk pork are all amazing, And they can season the home made jerk sauce to you spice requirements. As a truck driver, it can be difficult at times to find a place that has good food and space to accommodate my truck. Yesterday I found such place at K&S Jerk Shop. I stopped in only to purchase lunch and be on my way. The ambiance is very welcoming and calming, the cashiers were very pleasant. After explaining I was visiting their restaurant for the first time, I asked the gentleman what he recommends. He said the jerk chicken, pork, and oxtail; are a favourite amongst their customers. I went with two of his recommendations. I purchased the jerk chicken for myself, the jerk pork for my husband who eats pork, two beef patties for a friend, macaroni n cheese (recommended by the female cashier), four drinks, and duplex cookies which I haven't seen since I was a child. The food was made fresh, not heated by the microwave, and it was delicious. I took the jerk chicken home and my husband asked where did I purchased it, I told him he said to go back today and get some more (The Rastaman there said he knows my husband will love it and he was right). The gentleman who I got the patties for asked where I found such good patties, I told him he also plans on stopping by as well. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.
