Thanks to Advanced Air owner who offered over the phone free DIY assistance to mitigate a service call. Cant make that up!I did although elect to have his HVAC repair guy do the troubleshooting and repair.Dakota was very communicative respectful and efficiently repaired the A/C. The issue was a faulty electronic overflow sensor which was at my approval replaced with a more visible and accessible reliable mechanical sensor. The previous sensor too sensitive for Florida humidity and had failed and shutdown the A/C a couple of years ago even though no drain backup and overflow.100% Honest reliable and timely emergency response and repair!Wish there were 10 stars...Airline Capt Ret.

UPDATE February 2026: Bought a brand new Rheem air-conditioning unit for my home six months ago today from Advanced Air Conditioning and Heat. I’ve been using them for a couple of years since I moved to Sebastian and they’ve always been awesome to work with, professional, and always get it right the first time. Today was the six month anniversary of my new HVAC unit. It has been working beautifully so of course everything checked out great. The AC was ice cold during the summer and the heat worked wonderfully during these cold days that were so unexpected and rare in Sebastian. Dakota came to do the service and he is fantastic. He was on time and the company always let you know ahead of time that they’re on their way and how far away they are, etc. It makes for planning my day extremely pleasant and easy. I highly recommend this company for all your air conditioning and heating needs. The owner, Phil, is very hands-on and I love that about a company. He’s very honest and reliable, inspiring my trust in him and his team.UPDATE August 2025: If you want and need an honest, reliable, professional, and reasonable air conditioning company in Indian River County, look no further than Advanced Air Conditioning and Heat in Vero Beach. My air conditioning system finally died after 10 years. The owner, Phil, has always been unbelievably helpful to me since I moved to Sebastian 2 1/2 years ago. I got very lucky when I found Phil and his guys, Jay and Dakota, because they have been long time employees of Phil‘s and they’re always extremely competent when they’ve come out to my home over the years to service my unit. In fact, when I first met Phil, I was actually looking to replace my system when I bought this house. He actually talked me out of it because he thought that with proper maintenance and upkeep, my system would last a couple more years. It did actually last another 2 1/2 years and died this week. I was not hesitant at all to have Phil counsel me on what system to replace it with. He is so honest, reliable, and just a truly, truly great guy who knows his business. I had my system installed today by both of his regular guys who have been with Phil for many years. Dakota and Jay were on time, did a fantastic job installing my new system, cleaned up as if nothing ever happened, and made sure to check everything before they left. Do not look any further if you need any type of service for your HVAC system in Indian River County. They really know their stuff.

Best company in town first time they took care of my problem not only that gave an extra cleaning second time here replace thermostat and told me all the problems with the heat. They have always been very kind when calling to schedule a service, I enjoyed speaking with Mr Brantley and scheduling he's always very kind. Dakota has been my service man now twice and wow what a wonderful man he is, very polite very very thorough with his job explains everything. They will be my AC service until I leave this state.
