The food is amazing, one of the best Indian restaurants in Albany.

Exceptional food and top-tier amenities. Dishes came out quickly and tasted fantastic, but the setup of the venue makes it even better—great Wi-Fi, comfortable booths, hassle-free parking, and clean facilities throughout. An easy recommendation for casual dinners or small group get-togethers.

Best food I’ve ever had. Loved it

The food is great but portions are small. Two members of my group ordered paneer curries and both had exactly seven pieces of paneer in the dish. The other three had chicken curries which were a bit more reasonable but ultimately small portion. Sauce was delicious.

OkayyyyReally enjoyed the food! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The portions were good, and the flavors felt authentic and well-balanced. Overall, a great experience and I’d definitely come back again!

Honestly, one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the Albany area! The chef and owner is very friendly and welcoming, and I really enjoy talking with him. You can tell he genuinely cares about his food and customers. My personal favorites and must-try dishes: Apollo Fish, Roast Mutton, Gongura Chicken, and Veg Gongura Paneer. These are the dishes I always recommend to friends visiting for the first time. Everything is flavorful and delicious. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the Albany area!

We haven’t been here in a while. We heard that the quality had gone down. We ended up going here since Romo’s Pizza was unable to seat us. We are happy that we did. The menu is extensive. It took us a while to decide on what we wanted. They have several different styles of cooking for each dish. We ordered a variety of different dishes. Everything that we ate was very good. The servers go out of their way to make sure that you are satisfied. In many respects, I would say that this current ownership is steps above the previous owners. We were all pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, and the attentiveness of the servers.

Underrated place. My South Indian family loved the food. Price wise and taste, it was great. Better than Karavali in Latham. Service was great as well. They deserve more business

Great food at excellent price point. Loved that there were so many varieties too. We stopped here on our way to Lake George and we reached half an hour before closing time but the staff were so kind and accommodating. We will definitely visit here again whenever we travel to upstate NY in the future. Shoutout to the staff !

I have eaten quite a lot of Indian cuisine. This place hits it out of the park. We are regulars. And always find something new, inventive, and delicious. Give it a try.

Lunch buffet was good, spicy for me though. Dessert was excellent!

2026-02-15T03:56:16.740Z

I wish I could give a half star, the table was rocky, it made it hard to eat the delicious mulligatawny soup I ordered. Also, we came in 50 minutes before closing, but the staff was cordially and professional. Whatever they dust the samosas in, I will spend many nights thinking if it was dusted or it was folded into the dough, but whatever else you order, make sure to order their samosas!!
