I cannot say enough about our experience with sms and the Day Care program! We started 3 years ago when our Emma was just a puppy and returned in December after she had been attacked by another dog when out for a walk. She is now 3 years old and had lost all her confidence after that attack. We started back with group classes and she was doing so well we signed her up for a year of canine care! She suffers from separation anxiety and I wasn’t sure if she would stay at Doggy Day Care! Well the trainers, Grace,Tyler & Stephanie all worked hard with her and she LOVES it! They have worked wonders with her and her confidence is coming back. They work on her skills throughout the day. She is no longer afraid of other dogs, in fact she wants to meet them! We even had the pleasure of doing a socialization group with Matt and she was able to run free with all the dogs and enjoyed it! I work at a Vets office and I constantly recommend them to clients who have dogs in need of training! The entire staff at sms treat her like one of their own and it makes me feel good that she is so happy spending her day there at Day Care! I would highly recommend it to anyone. We are able to take her with us almost anywhere we go now and know we can trust she will do well. Our 6 year granddaughter walks her on the ma & pa trail and she heels right along side her. Less

So thankful for Sit Means Sit dog training and that Grace was my dog’s trainer. Grace was amazing with my dog. She was very patient with not only Pyper, but with me as well. She also made me feel comfortable asking as many questions as needed to make sure I fully understood what to practice on at home and how to handle my dog. My dog graduated training with flying colors! Less

Tyler Armstrong at the Bel Air location is amazing. Very patient and kind. Remmie is very nervous 1 year old labradoodle and we worked on building her confidence and mine. Remmie is my 4th labradoodle & her nervousness was new for me in my experience with this breed, that I love so very much. Tyler took extra time with us to make sure we were comfortable with the training provided. Everyone at this location is so wonderful. Matt the owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful when we went through the initial evaluation process. And then all of the team members at the facility that we interacted with were all also very kind & you can tell they truly care about you and you fur baby. We are onto group class to continue to work on Remmie’s confidence. Thank you Tyler & Matt for everything! Less

I received a Border Collie puppy as a gift and what a difference the Sit Means Sit training made in her behavior.I was having trouble getting her to obey commands as she just basically did what ever she wanted to do. This is typically true with "high energy" dogs.I called and set up an appointment at the Sit Means Sit Bel Air, MD location. The folks there greeted with a very relaxed but professional manner which made me relax. They assured me that they can help train my dog with skills that will change her behavior to what I was looking for. My puppy's assigned trainer, Stephanie, put me at ease by talking to me about the training my dog would receive. The plan for obedience training was explained and was what I was looking for.Stephanie is very knowledgeable and made sure I was updated on how the training was progressing. I liked when we met after each of my dogs training classes to train me on what my dog learned. Stephanie was very kind and knew what was needed to get my dogs attention and keep it so the task was accomplished. Stephanie was also very patient with me until I also got a feel with the commands and was successful with my dog.Luna successfully completed the obedience training portion of the Sit Means Sit program. We’ve seen such a huge change in our doggo, Bourbon! As you can see by the pictures, he loves school. Tyler Armstrong is his new favorite person—he makes every session fun and engaging. Not only does he work wonders with Bourbon, but he also explains everything so clearly to us. We feel more confident as dog parents, and Bourbon is thriving. Highly recommend! Less
