The professional service I received was acceptable, but I was very disappointed with the billing experience. I was charged $335 at the time of my appointment, even though my UnitedHealthcare coverage indicated that I only had a $10 copay.After I questioned the charge, the office eventually refunded the $335 overcharge, but only after I involved UnitedHealthcare to help resolve the issue. I appreciate that the money was ultimately refunded, but I shouldn't have had to involve my insurance company to get a billing error corrected.The medical service itself was fine, but the billing experience left me questioning the office's billing practices. I would recommend that patients carefully review what they are being charged and verify it with their insurance company if something doesn't seem right.
