Called Badger out to clean our 2 furnaces on September 25th, I ofcourse was at work and had my cousin available for the technician to relate the details of any issues. I got a call stating that the motherboard was fried in one of the units, and that I would need to replace that furnace. I told him to get a quote prepared and I would be in touch, just to service the other unit. When I got home I did some research and trouble shooting with help of u tube and ordered a inducer motor off of ebay. Needless to say, I learned how to clean, and repair my furnace and boy she's running nicely, (despite bad motherboard). Was also quoted 180.00 per cleaning, and Bill was over 420.00. Without cleaning the one that needed to be replaced. They did remove one cleaning charge, so I appreciate that. I just want to make people aware to ask questions and get a second opinion, cheaper than replacing a whole furnace for a 75.00 part off ebay. To Badger I say make sure your techs are well trained and know what their doing when you send them to a customer's house. God bless everyone stay safe.
