I have been training with Barrett Smith at Hill Country MVMT for the past three months and the experience has been outstanding. I am a 73 year old female and I began training for general fitness, strength and overall quality of life after a considerable period of being quite sedentary. The progress I’ve made in that time has exceeded my expectations.Barrett is highly knowledgeable, professional and motivating. He strikes the perfect balance of being tough while remaining incredibly supportive. Each session is built around a customized plan and he consistently ensures that I am using proper form, which has made a significant difference in both my results and how my body feels day to day. Having scheduled appointments with him has also been invaluable for accountability—he has helped me stay disciplined and consistent in a way I hadn’t achieved on my own before.Physically, I’ve noticed major improvements in flexibility and strength, and I no longer experience pain simply from moving through daily life. Mentally and emotionally, this training has been just as impactful. It has reduced my stress, increased my confidence and shown me that I am capable of committing to and maintaining healthy habits.
