At 58, I walked into a gym for the very first time — and I was intimidated by every single thing in it.I had hiked, biked, walked and done yoga for years, but picking up a barbell? That was never on my radar.Deadlifts. Power cleans. Box jumps. Wall balls. Burpees. What?! 😅My brain struggled with some movements and my body struggled with others — but I had made a decision.I committed to increasing my bone density, building real strength, and stepping into the next chapter of my life strong, confident, and as healthy and independent as possible. I want to live a long, full life — and I intend to show up for it.What I found at Hill Country MVMT was so much more than a gym.The coaches here are truly remarkable. They correct me when I need it, encourage me when I need it, and somehow always make me feel like I can do this — and maybe even a little more. They genuinely want the best for every person who walks through that door. The members are just as welcoming and encouraging. There is no judgment here — only people cheering each other on.It truly does not matter your age or stage of life. This is the place for you. 💪
