This company is a great one. Like absolutely hands down incredible. They are very well priced. Vehicles in excellent condition. Easy booking. Easy check in. I’m a mom of 3 and took my 3 kids and I (12,10,8) for my daughter’s 10th birthday. I wanted a more moderate ride as I was hesitant to do the wild. We did the rim run which is considered wild. It is very rough but absolutely doable and the views are spectacular! Our tour guide and excellent driver was mark. He was very interactive and kind. He was very knowledgeable and shared so much history with us. An very sweet old couple were also on our tour as it was the only one available to them to book the were over the age of 70 I’m sure Mark was very attentive to them and helpful throughout and they did very well on the ride if you’re wondering if this ride is for you. Very rugged snd bumpy going up is tougher than down down is much smoother. Our to guide also have some great local suggestions for our trip and so did another couple with us. Everyone was so kind. What a fantabulous adventure! We took the sunset tour and the views were even more spectacular than expected. You simply cannot experience these views from a car. The road is crazy windy and rocky and it takes a professional guide/driver to navigate it safely. Our guide, Doc, was the best! He enhanced our experience with his knowledge of geology, history and the abundant flora. Best of all, he wove in parts of his personal story and what Sedona means to him and his family, which made everyone on the tour feel like friends. And he made sure we got all the pictures we wanted! My family and I took a day trip to Sedona. We did a hike in the morning and almost left to go back to the Phoenix area. But we saw a few of the super cool jeeps driving around and decided to do a tour with our family of 7. We booked the last tour of the day in hopes of getting some killer sunset views. Amazing jeep tour last night! Went on the 2.5 hour rim runner tour that goes to the top of Schnebly hill road!! Our guide Rob was friendly and knowledgable. VERY bumpy ride but fun! Highlights were the views from the top, the interesting facts learned along the way, and Rob’s Native American flute playing! Our guide was Thomas and he was so much fun and so kind. We were late getting there because of traffic and thomas was so patient and accommodating. It rained for the whole ride and was 37 degrees. I've been on "other" Jeep tours in Sedona and, no slight to them, Safari Jeep Tours is the best. Our guide Joe was knowledgeable, funny and handled that Jeep like it was an extension of his own body. We flew by everyone else on the trail with speed and grace. It was exciting and knuckle clenching at times but I never once felt unsafe. We stopped multiple times so he could share his vast knowledge of the geology, ecology, and history of Sedona and of course to take in the unbelievable views. The kids loved sitting in the back of the Jeep and getting bounced around while laughing at jokes and screaming while flying over the rough terrain. I can't recommend Safari Jeep Tours enough. You'll probably have a good time with other tours, but if you want the best book with these guys. Less
