I have nothing but good things to say about this business. I recently had new tires put on my car and was told I needed to have new rear brakes soon. I was told it should be ok for my already planned trip to Santa Rosa but would need to have them done soon. Of course once I made it to Santa Rosa I suddenly heard a growling noise from my rear brakes. It was intermittent but I knew I couldn’t wait until I got home to have it done. I looked at Yelp for a local business and saw good reviews for All Around Auto. I called and Dale said bring it in. Once there my fears were confirmed, I needed new brakes. Dale called his parts house and after a short wait in their very comfortable and pleasant waiting room the parts were in hand and the job was completed in short order. Dale offered us water or coffee while we waited and kept us informed of each step so we didn’t feel hung out to dry like I have felt in other places. It all went so smoothly. The mechanic, who’s name I am sorry to say I have forgotten, was knowledgeable and quick. The whole experience was amazingly easy! Then came the best part. The cost was about $100 less than I was quoted back home. All Around Auto is all around wonderful! When he called me back to give me a quote on the work, he rank ordered the jobs in terms of what was urgent, what would be convenient to do while they're working on it, and what could be saved for later but needs doing. I have a 2017 Honda Accord, I first took my car to All Around Auto because I got 65,000 miles and never had a service on it aside from oil changes. Dale ended up needing to replace an almost dead battery and everything else was good. A couple weeks after, I noticed a weird noise coming from under the hood when I would accelerate and had him check it out. It was determined that the tensure pulley was going bad and needed replaced which was done and back to me the next day. Both times I went there, the service was very quick and Dale was friendly. I like that they are quick and to the point and don’t spend all day talking about things I know nothing about. If I need an explanation he makes it quick and easy to understand. My family and I purchased a 2003 Ford Expedition in 2020, to use for camping and within a month of using it, it started to act funny. It would lose power, and sometimes It would just die. My husband took it to a shop and paid $850 for it to come back with the exact same problem. Then we took it to another shop, which did a $150 diagnostic and had Lots of things we needed to do the vehicle but none of which would solve the losing power or dying. Travelling down the coast from Montana the carrier bearing wore out on my 05 Ram 1 ton near Monte Rio. I limped it and the trailer to the Walmart parking lot in Windsor. I was able to take the drive shaft out but my bearing puller failed. I called Dale at All Round Auto and after telling him my situation the man didn't miss beat. He offered and then came over and picked up the drive shaft where I was parked at the Walmart took it back to a shop and prepared it and put the new bearing on and brought it back. I had replaced switches and did everything I could with my minimal knowledge. I called them up and asked them if they could take a look and repair it. They were professional and straight forward. I was able to get my car in to the shop quickly and within 3 hours they had the issue resolved and repaired. They gave a thorough explanation of the issue and why it was doing was it was. The repair cost me a fair price and the whole interaction was smooth and effortless. The most difficult part was finding the shop. I am glad I did my research and put my trust into all around auto. TL;DR: There guys are fast and fair, could not more highly recommend. I am new to town and I was having problems with my car, I called every shop I could, and they where the only ones that could get me in next day. I took my car to them and they called me to let me know they found the problem. They told me they could have the part by Monday and gave me the cost to repair. I said great, lets do it. Fast forward to Monday, dropped my car off and a few hours later they called me. Told me they replaced the part but my car was not fixed, and they didn't know why. They told me they would not charge me anything, nothing at all because they couldn't figure out what was wrong. They wished me well and asked for me to let them know when someone figures it out. I drove the car home, and it seemed fixed. I drove the car around town, no problems! it seems like they did fix it, and it just took the car a little while to get everything out. I called back and spoke with them again. I said that it seems like my car is working perfectly now, and the problems I was having was gone. I asked if I could come back and pay them for their work and he told me to drive the car for a few days to a week, and if the issue is fixed we will work out something for payment. This is how an honorable business is run. If you are looking for someone to look at your car, let me tell you, these guys deserve your business. Less

This place is a classic mechanic shop. It is what you are probably looking for in a repair shop. The guys are knowledgeable, curteous and did everything they could to get my wife car in quickly despite they busy schedule. They were quick to accurately diagnose the problem with her vehicle and the quoted price was not passed. In fact the actual price was around $20.00 cheaper. So why 4 stars and not 5? Take what I am about to say with a grain of salt. I am new to California and their high cost for everything. I am in the Army and move around a lot but have never lived in this area before. But that being said the job cost me around $300. I usually do this work myself and with the part only done it for around $100. And based on the same work done on a different vehicle when I lived in Texas was about $180 this is why I gave 4 out of 5 starts. I do also want to note that the shop gave me a ride to pickup my wife's vehicle and called to follow up and texted. So customer service is superb and it was really hard to drop to 4 stars. So my truck has 170+K miles on it and I plan to run it until it can't run anymore. With Dale's help (and his mechanics) I have no doubt that it will have many more miles to go. With limited resources and little understanding of potentially complicated issues I trust Dale and his team to fix whatever may be wrong. I can be assured of this because my uncle, a mechanic who lives in another state and obviously can't work on my truck, has been able through descriptions and photos to diagnose what likely needs to be repaired. I must also mention how accommodating he has always been. He lets me choose an appointment time and makes that time work. In addition, two months age we started out to the San Francisco Airport to go on a long vacation and noticed something dragging underneath our car. I brought in a 2000 Ford Explorer with a check engine light on and an engine I'd just about killed with neglect. Dale was upfront about the car's condition without making me feel bad for not performing even basic maintenance (although I should feel bad, probably), and after I decided to go through with an attempt at repairs, Dale and his crew knocked out all the issues causing the check engine light, changed the oil, and even took care of a stuck e-brake light for free. Dale's fees are very reasonable, he won't jerk you around with stuff you don't need to fix and he and his crew will get the job done right. For anyone like me out there; if you don't do anything else for your car, at least remember to change the oil! Less

Dale and his team are very reliable, professional, and honest. I've been going to Dale since 2015, and before that, I only brought my car to the dealership. My engine was rattling, which is never good, so I called Dale. It was a Friday morning and I expected him to tell me to come in next week. He said he could squeeze me in right then! Amazingly my problem was a quick fix and he said that I would have my car back in 3 hours. When I picked up my car, Dale asked about a tire pressure light that was on and asked how long it had been that way. I told him I took my car to Les Swab (where I purchased my tires) 8 months ago and they said the sensor light was broken. He said it's not broken! There is a 5th tire called a spare and that too had a sensor! He added air to the tire and changed my oil.
