Great mechanic shop. The reservoir in my engine was cracked and leaking out coolant. Dale who I believe is the owner was very nice and explained what needed to be fixed. I visited his shop for a non-functional AC issue that had persisted for over a year. With the ongoing heat wave, my job requiring constant driving, a baby due in less than two weeks, and my nephew needing the car for his driving test next week, I decided it was finally time to address the problem. I brought the car in on Thursday, and it was ready by Friday. I was genuinely impressed by the quick turnaround. I used Snap Finance for the payment, but there was initially an issue with the transaction. During this stressful moment, Dale was incredibly patient and understanding. Moreover, he repaired a broken brake light at no additional charge, saying, "I wanted to make sure it was all set for your nephew's driving test, as they would fail him if it didn't work." Dale runs a Clean AND Busy Shop - I found "All Around Auto Repair" on line - went to their location at 1244 Central and found a clean and busy shop. I expected to replace the A.C. compressor on my 2011 Sonata, but Dale found I simply needed to replace the A.C. hose and Recharge the system. He also found (reminding me) that my front disk pads & rotors needed replacing. Dale found time to do the pads & rotors, And change my oil & filter while I was there. I have nothing but good things to say about this business. I recently had new tires put on my car and was told I needed to have new rear brakes soon. I was told it should be ok for my already planned trip to Santa Rosa but would need to have them done soon. Of course once I made it to Santa Rosa I suddenly heard a growling noise from my rear brakes. It was intermittent but I knew I couldn’t wait until I got home to have it done. I looked at Yelp for a local business and saw good reviews for All Around Auto. I called and Dale said bring it in. Once there my fears were confirmed, I needed new brakes. Dale called his parts house and after a short wait in their very comfortable and pleasant waiting room the parts were in hand and the job was completed in short order. Dale offered us water or coffee while we waited and kept us informed of each step so we didn’t feel hung out to dry like I have felt in other places. It all went so smoothly. The mechanic, who’s name I am sorry to say I have forgotten, was knowledgeable and quick. The whole experience was amazingly easy! Then came the best part. The cost was about $100 less than I was quoted back home. All Around Auto is all around wonderful! I have a 2017 Honda Accord, I first took my car to All Around Auto because I got 65,000 miles and never had a service on it aside from oil changes. Dale ended up needing to replace an almost dead battery and everything else was good. A couple weeks after, I noticed a weird noise coming from under the hood when I would accelerate and had him check it out. It was determined that the tensure pulley was going bad and needed replaced which was done and back to me the next day. Both times I went there, the service was very quick and Dale was friendly. My family and I purchased a 2003 Ford Expedition in 2020, to use for camping and within a month of using it, it started to act funny. It would lose power, and sometimes It would just die. My husband took it to a shop and paid $850 for it to come back with the exact same problem. Then we took it to another shop, which did a $150 diagnostic and had Lots of things we needed to do the vehicle but none of which would solve the losing power or dying. Travelling down the coast from Montana the carrier bearing wore out on my 05 Ram 1 ton near Monte Rio. I limped it and the trailer to the Walmart parking lot in Windsor. I was able to take the drive shaft out but my bearing puller failed. I called Dale at All Round Auto and after telling him my situation the man didn't miss beat. He offered and then came over and picked up the drive shaft where I was parked at the Walmart took it back to a shop and prepared it and put the new bearing on and brought it back. I had a problem with my check engine light, called All Around Auto Repair Dale asked if I could come in now as he would be able to check it out. I went there he did a diagnosis on my vehicle and told me what it was and within minutes it was taken care of. I needed windshield wipers and an oil change and filter change and he gave me an appointment for the next morning. I went in and as promised he got on my vehicle immediately. They were friendly, honest and very reasonable on what they charged for everything they did. They also replaced some fuses and that was the check engine light was about.imwill go there again and have already recommended them to people I know if they want a good mechanic and honest one!!!! I had been using the same mechanic for over 20yrs and then he retired. I was looking around for a new mechanic and was scrolling through Google for mechanics near Windsor. I came across all around auto and read the reviews. Seemed like an honest and straight forward place so I decided to give them a shot. I had an issue with both of my rear windows not rolling down. I had replaced switches and did everything I could with my minimal knowledge. I called them up and asked them if they could take a look and repair it. They were professional and straight forward. I was able to get my car in to the shop quickly and within 3 hours they had the issue resolved and repaired. They gave a thorough explanation of the issue and why it was doing was it was. The repair cost me a fair price and the whole interaction was smooth and effortless. The most difficult part was finding the shop. I am glad I did my research and put my trust into all around auto.
