I have been training with Hossein on a 1 on 1 personal training setup since last year and have seen some major improvement in my over all body composition , strength and health. The gym setup at uplift has everything I need for my training. It’s big enough to give everyone space and never feel over crowded as other big chain gym does. The shower and lockers are always nice and clean and the people at reception are very welcoming, over all great environment . Will recommend this gym to people looking for proper strength coaching with an expert and well learned and experienced trainer.

After going to some of the major gym chain across Melbourne I found Uplift to be a better choice. The environment there is quite nice and motivating, non intimidating at all and the people are very respectful of everyone’s space . The studio is quite clean and is equipped with everything one needs for proper training and importantly the things are kept in their own place, unlike past experiences of roaming the gym to find the missing dumbbell pair. The locker rooms are nice and big and the toilets and shower are very clean.And the best part of the gym is my fav trainer Hossein , with whom I have been doing 1 on 1 personal training for the last 5 years.He is the best in business for strength training.Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an appropriate gym with world class trainers and coaches for 1 on 1 or group classes .

I have met Hossein since 2020 and trained with him for almost 5 years now. I have met him through a referral as my condition involving my legs fit his area of expertise: Strength Training. After my first year of training with him, I realised that my condition is nothing but an excuse to limit myself and I have shown great progress towards my posture and strength.Recently, he opened this new studio which offers appointments and we have started targeting different regions of the legs with a variety of exercises which will aid me in my fitness journey. He has made sure fhe environment is clean, spotless and an overall friendly atmosphere.Additionally, Hossein is not only a fitness mentor, he also serves as my life mentor, teaching me to see different situations froma different point of view and overall giving me a more positive outlook for the journey that is to come.Overall, Hossein is a well-rounded PT who specialises in 1-on-1 personal training and makes sure everyone gets the right support and the right treatment to their challenges and problems.

I highly recommend Uplift Training & Performance for its exceptional professional training, support and service delivery. Not all trainers and gyms are alike and Uplift is a superb standout in a busy gym market.The gym provides group classes as well as personal training services. I value that the gym is friendly, extremely organised and tidy, welcoming and enjoyable to train at.I have been doing 1-on-1 personal training with Hossein (the owner) for a number of years as he is an outstanding personal trainer. Hossein is extremely knowledgeable and a leader in the field of strength coaching.Hossein has an invaluable understanding of all his clients training needs as well as excellent attention to detail required for developing and delivering training sessions that are specifically targeted, or adapted where needed to each persons specific goals and needs. Hossein has been key to helping me achieve my goals.I also value the on-going support and feedback that he provides in general, but particularly when I am struggling with an exercise or getting through a session.Thanks also to Hossein’s personal manner, each session is also enjoyable and rewarding to attend so I look forward to the sessions every time.Uplift is also an appointment-based studio as well as providing group training. I am a 41-year-old female, and I started 1-on-1 personal training at Uplift in Richmond because of ongoing lower back and shoulder injuries. I had been told by doctors, physiotherapists, and other professionals that surgery was the only solution. But at Uplift, I received a detailed assessment and a strength coaching and rehabilitation program tailored exactly to my needs.What surprised me most was the immediate improvement I felt after just a few sessions. After 12 weeks of consistent rehab and 1-on-1 strength training, my pain was completely gone, and I could move freely again without discomfort.I also love that Uplift is an appointment-based studio, so there’s no waiting around for equipment like in big commercial gyms. The space is welcoming, clean, and has a great environment that feels non-intimidating — perfect for people who just want to focus on their health without being surrounded by the usual gym crowd.I’m still training here now and couldn’t be happier with the progress I’ve made. I've had the pleasure to do 1-on-1 personal training with Hossein for a few years now. In that time while I may not have become a super model but I have gotten stronger, stabler (if that's a word), and overall become a healthier person. Hossein took me from being a someone who would not dare take a step to the gym to someone he is able to lift heavy, to have a good form, and be proud of their achievements. Strength training has now become something I look forward to.I began to train with the clear intent of learning a couple of things and then going solo. Hossein made me stay, he's helped me grow both in and outside the gym. I'm proud that I now get to go to his very own gym, one that is professional, clean, and more than well equipped. I really enjoy going to the appointment based study it has a great environment, non-intimidating and clean. It's impressive what the new management has done to Uplift, improving it for the better.For those who did finish reading this review, while it may seem daunting please do come and train, if I can I'm confident you can too.

One of the cleanest gyms I’ve ever stepped foot in. I’m currently getting 1-on-1 personal training with Hossein, focusing on strength coaching. I’ve trained in a few places and really like the non-intimidating environment that Uplift offers me. It’s an appointment-based studio so you’re not battling with others to get equipment time and so it’s a great environment to learn and develop.I’ve now started doing their calisthenics and mobility class which has proven beneficial for every day life as well as my sporting endeavours. Justin knows his stuff and provides several levels of exercise in the class from entry level all the way to the crazy stuff you see on TikTok - he’s promised me I’ll be able to do handstands by the end of the year, which at first I doubted, but after a couple of months I’m starting to believe!Combined with personal training with Hossein I’m now feeling better than any other point in my life. When I first started I could barely do a press up. Now I’m doing weighted pushups, pull ups and deadlifting double my own weight. Not bad having just hit 40 this year!

Love this place, their programs and the team. I’ve been attending Uplift for around 12 months. I appreciate the quality of the small group weight programs that Hossein and Justin prepare; as well as the capacity to individualise the exercises depending on personal needs (injuries) or preferences ( likes/dislikes!). The staff are highly skilled and knowledgeable and take great pride in working with each person to best address their health and wellbeing goals.
