I have been training with Uplift for over four years. Uplift does not only help me to get stronger and fitter, but I know that I could train safer with the correct form. Uplift listens to my goals, tailor the programs to my specific needs and at the same time I can see the progress of my fitness journey as it was all recorded. The programs are well structured and continuously monitored so I am not coming to the gym without clear purpose. I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet and train with Uplift. Thanks again for helping me both physically and mentally to conquer what I think was not possible. Less

It’s a space where I’ve felt comfortable and respected, which made a huge difference in easing my anxiety and helping me show up consistently.I knew I needed 1-on-1 personal training because I wasn't confident with gym equipment or form, and I wanted real guidance to build a healthier lifestyle for long-term personal goals. I’ve been focusing on strength coaching—taking things at a pace that makes sense for me. The coaching here is clear, supportive, and tailored. Every movement is explained, every struggle is met with encouragement and thoughtful modifications. As a busy person who spends long hours on my computer, finding the time and motivation to exercise was always a challenge. However, Hossein's 1-on-1 personal training has made a real difference. His strength coaching is excellent, and despite my demanding schedule, I feel healthier and noticeably stronger thanks to his tailored approach. The appointment-based studio is convenient, and it's a great environment – non-intimidating and always clean. I’ve been training at this gym for a few months now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my fitness journey. Hossein and Justin have created a friendly gym that feels more like a supportive community than just a place to work out. The great environment is welcoming to everyone, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced lifter.What really sets this place apart is the 1-1 personal training. I am a dad in my 40s with a disabled child. I needed to get stronger and stay injury-free to be able to meet my son’s daily needs, including lifting him off the ground and carrying him around safely. That was my biggest goal. I was referred to GIV (now Uplift) by a colleague who has been doing 1-on-1 personal training with Hossein for over six years. I am grateful for his knowledge, skills, and patience, which helped me not only become the strongest I have ever felt through expert strength coaching, but also massively improve my lifestyle. Training in an appointment-based studio like Uplift, with a great environment, non-intimidating, clean studio setup, made a huge difference. I have been training with Hossein on a 1 on 1 personal training setup since last year and have seen some major improvement in my over all body composition , strength and health. The gym setup at uplift has everything I need for my training. It’s big enough to give everyone space and never feel over crowded as other big chain gym does. The shower and lockers are always nice and clean and the people at reception are very welcoming, over all great environment . Will recommend this gym to people looking for proper strength coaching with an expert and well learned and experienced trainer. Less

After going to some of the major gym chain across Melbourne I found Uplift to be a better choice. The environment there is quite nice and motivating, non intimidating at all and the people are very respectful of everyone’s space . The studio is quite clean and is equipped with everything one needs for proper training and importantly the things are kept in their own place, unlike past experiences of roaming the gym to find the missing dumbbell pair. The locker rooms are nice and big and the toilets and shower are very clean.And the best part of the gym is my fav trainer Hossein , with whom I have been doing 1 on 1 personal training for the last 5 years.He is the best in business for strength training.Would recommend this place to anyone looking for an appropriate gym with world class trainers and coaches for 1 on 1 or group classes .
