We finally decided to update the kitchen in our 1955 ranch house, and after shopping around, went with Oak City Homes. Our kitchen was entirely gutted as well as having a wall removed, so it wasn't a trivial change. Julie was a fabulous guide in the process of choosing (so many things!): sink, counter tops, back splash, appliances, wall color, and on!! Mike, our project manager, was OUTSTANDING. He went above and beyond many times to make sure everything went well, and he took care of the inevitable job hiccups quickly, smoothly, and professionally. I cannot say enough good about his knowledge and his work ethics. Our main goal was to be able to cook Thanksgiving dinner in our new kitchen and that was realized. Every single time I walk into the kitchen/living room area, I am thrilled. Thank you so much!!

We just completed a project with Oak City to remodel our living room, kitchen, and bathroom. While we experienced a bit of bumpiness in the design process due to some changes on their team, the process was still very professional throughout. Once we entered the construction phase and Mike took over, we never had a single additional worry. We decided to still live in the house during construction, and Mike went above and beyond far out of his way to make it as convenient as possible for us. He worked around our infant’s sleep schedule, got to know our dogs and became a very welcome familiar face. Any discrepancies that carried over from the design phase, Mike fixed immediately with his own two hands or at his own time/expense. The final result speaks for itself, and the Oak City team gives you every consideration of a professional team, and care just as much if not more about the final result as you yourself will. Do yourself a favor and hire Mike, you won’t regret it.

We just completed our kitchen and laundry room renovation with Oak City Homes and are thrilled with the end result of our project. While there were a few speed bumps in the design phase of our project once we started construction everything sped up significantly. Mike was a pleasure to work with. He was quick to communicate whenever we needed an answer from him even sometimes on weekends and holidays and he ensured we stayed on budget, even with a few changes we requested after starting construction. We lived in the house through most of the renovation and we appreciated that he loved our dogs ( they will miss him too) and was always considerate of our kids and family life.

We recently hired Oak City to remodel our kitchen and repurpose space in our house to convert it into a bedroom. Working with them was a pleasure throughout the process. They are helpful, transparent, informative and they listen to their customers. They do great work!

We contracted with Oak City for a 700 square foot addition (master suite, laundry room & sunroom) plus a kitchen and powder room remodel. We met with several contractors before settling on Oak City because they took the time to explain their process and answered our questions prior to signing a contract. Their design team listened to our ideas, reviewed our rough sketches, and worked with us to draw up plans, and then worked with us to refine them to fit into our budget. They kept us informed of the next steps throughout the project and updated us when the inevitable weather delays caused rescheduling of subcontractors. We are extremely pleased with the results and will look to contract with Oak City again for some other home improvement projects down the road.

We had a great experience with Oak City Homes during our home renovation. The team listened to our needs and help us get our dream kitchen! They kept the project on track and were always available to answer my many questions. I appreciated the help during the design process. The idea of picking everything out was overwhelming but Alex made it easy! During the process our home was treated with respect and taken care of. Steve and Travis made sure things were done quickly and correctly. They were a great point of contact and clearly communicated what items were completed and what was scheduled next. We are completely satisfied and look forward to working with them again on a bath remodel!

We had a FANTASTIC experience with Oak City Homes! Will, Travis and the team were super professional, courtesy, and so easy to work with. Super quick and professional response times to questions and concerns. My husband and I experienced a seamless process with the company and were extremely pleased with the outcome. We had a master bedroom, bathroom and closet remodel/addition. The outcome was gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. We highly, highly recommend Oak City Homes. In fact, if you are reading this review and wondering if you should hire them, you definitely should!!
