We booked a powered site for 7 days in the school hols but it never felt crowded or loud. As we set up I noticed pieces of building rubble in the sandy area of our site. I was concerned it was asbestos but the lady at reception reassured me. Apart from that moment of concern we settled in and loved the facilities. The amenities are the best I’ve had at any van park, the bike track was a hit and the grounds staff are super friendly. Gary was especially approachable and gave my kids an inspiring lesson on bush tucker. He really made an impression!!. The NPWS van delivered a substantial session on Whales, they went above and beyond to engage the kids. What a treat! The live music was a chilled and fun end to our stay.I was told by fellow campers (locals) the current sites are located where the previous cabins burnt down in the fires. It may be worth keeping an eye out for debris if your kids play in the dirt.The cafes of tathra are a short walk away and there is a great bike path to town and also to the lagoon. Also bush bmx tracks right next to the park.

We glamped at the Bellbird across three nights. It was a fantastic experience - highly recommend, we would definitely come back!Location: Fantastic. The beach is across the road and the Tathra wharf is a couple of minutes drive (perfect spot if you want to see some whales!).Accommodation: The tent was clean, aesthetically pleasing and had all the amenities you’d need. For example: cutlery, gas stove and canister, fry pan and saucepan, bar fridge, complimentary tea coffee, towels, dishwashing supplies. The bed was comfortable and there was an extra duvet for colder weather.Amenities: If staying at the Bellbird, you’d be using the communal bathrooms. I was worried about these but they exceeded my expectations with how clean they were. It definitely didn’t feel like a camp ground bathroom! There is also a communal kitchen which we didn’t end up using (we had our gas stove).We would definitely come back again. The park was fantastic and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our stay. It truly felt special being out in nature.

I went there just recently for a Youth group camp and I absolutely love the campsites and everything about the camp. Its a family friendly camping area and the amenities and facilities are great!

We caravanned here and loved our 7 night stay. The ammenities and camp kitchen are spotless and modern. The local wildlife is a delight too. Big spacious sites too, though beware that some of the entry access roads are very tight if you have a large setup.
