A fantastic experience seeing Lake Eyre at its best. The standard of service, the thought given to the itinerary and the attention to detail are exemplary. 10/10 would recommend. Nic, the host was very accomodating, up to date on his knowledge of the Great Barrier Reef and was a real pleasure to have around. If you’re looking for a laid back holiday where you are well taken care of, this is the way to go!

From accommodating Phil, with whom I booked after finding Aviation Tours on the web to the the day when Dale, our guide and father hen, and Alex, our wonderful pilot with whom we felt so safe, all 8 of us passengers, including those who had flown from interstate, agreed that the day was worth every cent. Both Dale and Alex gave us so much information, Dale over every sight we travelled to Lake Eyre and Alex as we flew over Lake Eyre North and South, once on the way up and once on the way back. We were spoilt at Marree and William Creek by the hospitality of the locals, country people at their finest and proud of their part in this wide brown land. Thank you one and all!

We didn’t know what to expect other than flying in a plane to the heart of Australia. Our 3 day Lake Eyre Escape was so interesting and we covered so many places that we felt like we’d been away a week. Having only a small group of 8 meant we received individual attention and information from our organizer and tour guides. It is impossible to say which experience was the best - fellow travellers, outback towns, views from the air, morning tea at the Painted Rocks, tour of the Big Red, meals, tour of the Secret Base in Charleville - not the mention the time at Lightening Ridge which transported us to a different world. Just amazing.

In early July, we ventured on a 3 day Lake Eyre & outback tour.
