My experience at Waterworld Stoke-on-Trent was very good. It’s a fantastic place, especially for children, and perfect for spending quality time with the family. The atmosphere is lovely, the indoor temperature was warm and comfortable, and all the pools were clean and well maintained. The staff were also very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They also sell snacks, which is convenient if you’re spending the day there.There are, however, two things that I think could be improved.The first is the waiting time for the larger slides. The queues can easily be over an hour long, which feels excessive, especially since your visit is time-limited. If you manage to go on two of the big slides, you’ve likely spent around two hours just waiting in line for only a few seconds of fun. It would be great if there were a way to make the process more efficient so guests could spend less time queuing and more time enjoying the attractions.The second point is the no-phone photography policy. I completely understand that this rule is in place to protect people’s privacy, especially with so many children, families, and visitors who may not wish to appear in photos for personal or religious reasons. I fully respect that.However, I think it would be a great idea to create a designated photo area where families could take pictures without affecting anyone else’s privacy. For example, a small spot overlooking the outdoor pool and the slides, where staff could ensure that no other guests are in the background. When booking through the app, you’re offered professional photos for an extra £20, but not everyone can afford or wants to pay for that service. Having a dedicated photo spot where guests can use their own phones would allow everyone to take home a special family memory while still respecting the privacy policy.Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely visit again. With some improvements to the queue system and a designated family photo area, the experience would be even better.

Great experience, but watch out for the hidden fees! You cannot bring your own food or drinks, there is a booking fee, and you have to pay for parking. It feels like they try to maximize your spending at every turn

Great waterpark. The slides are brilliant. It was extremely busy during school holidays with up to 40 minute waits for slides - I’d plan to go at less busy periods if possible. The park got very busy around lunch time. The slides are fantastic though, and the wave pool is great too. The outdoor pool was a great feature. Security search your bags on entry, out in the open. This is a little intrusive. But that shouldn’t detract from Warerworld overall, which was great.

This place was very packed out. The are really nice and friendly, under 11's ratio is 1 adult 2 children and babies 1 adult to 1 baby. The pool were massive, the children enjoyed it very well. This is The best one so far I would say in the UK. Standard changing rooms

What an absolute gem to have in the Midlands! Waterworld is one of our favourite places to visit. The whole team.. from reception and the restaurant to the lifeguards and security staff are always friendly, welcoming and professional. They genuinely care about their guests, especially the children, and their customer service is second to none.A special thank you to Callum, who kindly exchanged my day pass for a season pass when I realised it was the better option. That level of customer care was truly appreciated. I’d also like to thank Pat (beautiful lady inside and out) , who has served us pizza and cheesy garlic bread many times. She is always so kind and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. My daughter would never eat garlic bread before, but she loves the cheesy garlic bread here.The whole facility is always clean and well looked after. My daughter absolutely loves coming here, and we visit several times a week. The season pass is fantastic value for money. Thank you, Waterworld.. we can’t recommend you highly enough.

This is still the best water park I have ever been to. The Cyclone is one of the most fun water slides I've ever been on. Even though it was stupidly busy, we still managed to get on plenty of slides. The pools themselves aren't as good as some other parks, however the slides make it way more than worth the admisson.
