Michelle was excellent from the first moment we met her. She was professional, friendly and ALWAYS answered any questions no matter how complicated they were. Buying a home in another Country can be nerve wracking to say the least, but Michelle’s was more than just a realtor. Where to begin!🏝 It's tough to find a great Realtor locally, let alone long distance and in another country. I was kind of tentative about the idea of purchasing a home in Roatan, so I sat back for quite a while as my other half, did extensive research on the area and contacted several agents on the island. We had traveled there before for vacations, and had heard from unrelated sources that the island was very ex-pat friendly. After a period of time, and realizing that this dream was starting to get closer to becoming a reality, I started looking at the links that Michelle Breuer was forwarding, and began my own personal journey to get to know the island in a different way. Our trip last November had only two purposes. Diving and snorkeling in the morning🐠🤿, and looking at properties in the afternoon🛖! And of course watching sunsets from the beach!🌅 Talk about service! Michelle had offered to pick us up at the airport and already had properties lined up for us that same afternoon, both in Sandy Bay and West Bay, and also invited us to the weekly ex-pat night at a wonderful place called JavaVine Cafe & Wine Bar, in West Bay, where we met some truly great people and had such a great time🥂🍕. Michelle made our 5 day trip very productive, took in to consideration our individual wants and asks, was knowledgable about each property, the surrounding areas, the pros and the cons. It was impressive, that she managed her other appointments and business so well, that we had no interruptions while previewing properties. There was no pressure to make an offer before departing the island...which was great, because there was so much to consider in such a short period of time😀. Needless to say, after returning home, we quickly agreed on a property in West Bay, and Michelle, along with Daniel Matamoros, our attorney in Roatan, got the ball rolling with an offer, and the journey of purchasing and closing a property in Roatan began! I could not be happier with the customer service we received, and Michelle's willingness to answer, a seemingly endless string of questions and concerns, both during escrow and after closing. Michelle's continued support and extensive list of referrals for, insurance agents, property management, pest control, security companies, contractors, etc., have been so very valuable and very much appreciated. Michelle's service extends far beyond the close of escrow!🌴🧡. She truly cares about her clients and she truly loves the island of Roatan, the island life there, and on the bay islands.
