I was very sick after 2 emergency room visits to St.Lukes in a three day span where all their tests showed I needed my gall bladder removed.St.Lukes referral from their ER. Dr. was months out from being able to get me in. I was able to reach out to Dr. Perry's office where they were able to get me in for an immediate appointment. Dr. Perry also confirmed that I needed my gallbladder removed, explained the risks of surgery, and all my options. I trusted Dr. Perry 100% and had my gallbladder surgery at Treasure Valley Hospital within days after my appointment. I went home the same day as my surgery and had a quick and complete recovery with no side effects! My husband chose surgery with Dr Austen Slade after his prior physician rushed thru giving us diagnosis/surgery info. Dr Slade was informative, personable, and answered all our questions in detail. He clearly cares about his patients, plus his office staff are positive and helpful! Dr Slade called the day after surgery to personally follow up, and Treasure Valley Hospital did as well. It is hard to believe that in 2023 many more surgeons are advertising on the internet.. In 2020 I only found three offices that offered no-mesh hernia surgery. Again needing a hernia repair - different side. Started searching and found Dr Daniel Gay in Boise Idaho. Dr. Daniel Gay is the best! Had to have a hernia repaired. Dr Gay was informative and let me know all the possible options. He allowed me to make all final decisions about my surgery. I came from Utah specifically for no-mesh surgery - but after learning more about bio-mesh decided on that as my surgical method. I am so thankful that I found Dr Gay on-line!
