It took 2 days to fit everything. A small amount of groundwork was needed to run the cable to the garage, which other suppliers were reluctant to undertake, but nothing was too much trouble for Pearl. Highly recommend them.

Getting into domestic solar energy for the first time can be a bit daunting especially as you seem to deal generally with salespeople on the phone who swamp you with a sea of technical detail and conflicting information. It makes it all rather confusing, particularly when you are considering a major financial commitment on the strength of a phone call. Not so with Pearl Energy. Brad and James are two genuine guys who visited us personally and took us carefully through every aspect, tailoring their proposals by being able to see our property for themselves. That makes a huge difference. There was no hard sell and the quote was spot on. When we were ready the work was carried out seamlessly, exactly to the promised timescales and they even dealt with all the contact with our energy provider to move us over to exporting. We are delighted with our system and highly recommend Pearl Energy.

The journey started back in Oct 24 when a guy turns up on my drive selling solar energy, ( I don't do cold calling ) so I try to put him off by saying I need a new roof, we can do that he say's, the guy turns out to be James from Pearl Energy, a couple of meetings later, along with his partner Bradley, and after answering every question me and my good lady threw at them with confidence we where good to go. Enter Sean o Grady Roofing who popped round to measure up, fast forward to June 25 and everything is moving like a rocket on rails, first the skips, then the scaffolding, John takes the lead and in 2 weeks 2 days I've got a new roof with integrated solar panels and they even insulated the loft space. This is a 50ft roof with gulley and hips and a lot of lead work, nothing fazed John, the lead work needs to be seen to be believed, like an artist creating a master piece. A day later the skips and scaffolding and all the mess is cleared away. Enter the electricians to connect up the batteries and inverter to the panels what a beautiful tidy job that is, everything tucked away in a corner with the switches and all the wiring in ducting. James then come's back to get you the right tariff for connection to the grid.If I could give 10 stars I would, weather you have integrated panels or the panels that sit on top of your roof, Pearl Energy are the people you go to, and working with Sean o Grady Roofing who are the people who will fit the panels and a new roof if you need one. Finally if a guy walks on your drive called James from Pearl Energy, listen to what he has to say, remember this review, ask him to show you photo's to see what a Professional Craftmanship job they can do.

When we decided to take the plunge to invest on solar, it was important that our installer was able to provide a bespoke installation that was able to accommodate all the requirements of our unusual early 'eco' house, which was a self build using the best materials and products available in the late 1980's.A pre-requisite to the solar PV system was the need to update the existing roof, involving additional roof insulation, updating roofing felt to the latest 'breathable' standard and replacement of 36 year old timber roof windows.What set Pearl Energy apart from other suppliers was their ability to provide a complete service that coordinated several trades.When we decided to add air-conditioning to cope with global warming, they were able to recommend a reputable local contractor who worked with the solar team to incorporate the necessary additional services.Even when we decided to invest in a larger solar array, they were quick to respond to this and their roofer's advice was instrumental in making the best use of the additional panels as well as the choice of roof windows.As the works drew to a close, the team took care to tidy up after themselves.Before and after the installation, Pearl provide valuable advice and assistance in setting up to export power to the grid.
