We had an outstanding experience with Gateway Custom Painting, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. From the very beginning, James, the owner, made it clear that he genuinely cared about getting the project right.When James came out to survey the project, he took the time to really listen to our concerns and hear about some of the bad experiences we had with previous companies. He asked thoughtful questions to make sure he fully understood what we wanted, what had gone wrong in the past, and what was important to us. He was friendly, professional, and thorough throughout the entire process, which immediately gave us confidence that we were in good hands.On the day of the project, James came out with his crew and personally went over the scope of work with them. We were able to be there to answer any last-minute questions, and James took the extra step of verifying with us that everything he was communicating to his crew was exactly what we wanted. That level of attention to detail was greatly appreciated.His crew was extremely professional from start to finish. They communicated with us throughout the entire project, took care of everything we had discussed, and completed the work in record time without sacrificing quality. Once they were finished, they cleaned up professionally and thoroughly. When they left, it honestly looked like they had never been there—except, of course, for the excellent work they had completed.It’s obvious that James is running his company the right way and is hiring great people. The entire process was painless, organized, and professional. Gateway Custom Painting lime-washed our entire house and it looks absolutely fabulous! They nailed the style we were going for and did it efficiently and with care. They even showed up to work on a Saturday even though they don’t typically work weekends. They got the job done very quickly and we were very impressed.
