I did the puppy raising training for my mini golden doodle with Cameron for 2 months and am beyond happy with the results! I was nervous about getting a puppy because of not having the knowledge to train along with my busy schedule, but Cameron showed me that it’s possible to keep a dog trained & happy through trust, communication, and consistency. This was a lot easier than I thought thanks to him. I highly recommend this company and recommend working with Cameron as your trainer. I had my dog trained there as a puppy. Now she is having more issues and I tried to reach out to my trainer since I paid for life time training and got no response. Emailed and called the company three times and finally got an answer of she no longer works there and they have no trainers in my area. That was last year I’m trying to call again cause I’m going to have to use a different company and I want compensation since again I PAID for lifetime training. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone this is ridiculous.

TLDR ; Johnny and the program are absolutely fantastic and worth it!I'll start by saying I have a one year old Beagle who tested my patience any chance she could. I was at my wits end and called Through the Leash who was recommended very highly to me. They paired me with Johnny who has a love of the breed and experience working with them. He listened to what I'm hoping to get out of training with my dog and he works every session to make sure we are working toward my goals at the speed that works for myself and my dog. I have questions and Johnny has the answers. He's super polite but also not afraid to tell me how I can improve. It can be hard to find that balance but I never feel like I'm in trouble, I'm just learning.After only three sessions, I see remarkable changes in my dog and her behavior that I never thought possible. Johnny has restored my sanity bit by bit and I am so thankful to him and the entire Through the Leash family.The cost is WORTH IT to not be crying on the floor while my velociraptor puppy turns her ears off and chooses chaos over snuggles and pets.(Also it's amazing that they come to my house.)Thank you thank you thank you for helping me nurture the bond with my dog and give me the tools for not only this pup, but all the ones I hope to have in the future.

I worked with Kayla Scott in Cleveland! We found our dog when he was nine months old. As a stray, he had some attachment anxiety and did not do well with commands. Through his training we’ve grown so much. I take him off leash sometimes, he’s friendly with people and dogs, and listens to his commands. The training sessions could not have been more convenient, as the trainers are able to come to your neighborhood or even your home. Through the Leash is the way to go!

Amazing training company! Our trainer was Ki and she was awesome! Very kind, patient and helpful! She helped us train our German shepherd puppy who is growing to be a kind loving and obedient dog. We also did individual sessions with our 8 year old Siberian husky mix and our 8 year old puggle mix! After weeks of hard work and dedication our home is much calmer and our fur babies are getting along great as well as more satisfied with their daily life! It’s great to know we have access to our trainer her knowledge and their team in case future issues arise. Highly recommend this company and their trainers if you want a closer bond with your fur babies !

Our trainer was Ki and she is amazing!! I went from have an aggressive pitty who would pull the leash and lunge at anything moving. He would not listen to any commands. Now thanks to Ki we can go on walks and it’s like I have a whole new dog! She’s really nice and patient and if you put in the work you’ll see results. Highly recommend. So worth it. Would have never thought I could have him lay down and stay put in public like this.

Our trainer was Ki, she was patient with us as we made a decision on the training. During this time we had a major transition in our life, but we managed to book this much needed training. She is very good at what she does. We have an Akita who is 2 years old. She was able to get us started and help us get him to become a well trained dog. I recommend if you need a trainer go with them.

My parents utilized your services. You were supposed to take their dog for a 2 week board and train and you brought him back in 4 days and said he was trained. He was not. They are still having issues with their dog, he's actually gotten worse over the last year or so. My mom recently reached out to you because she was told that the training is for life and anytime they had trouble you would come back out. This is not the case as you told them it would be another $2000-$3000 because they waited too long to call. That essentially you'd be starting over again. The dog is still alive! If you have a LIFETIME GUARANTEE and he's still alive, I'm failing to see how you can charge them full price all over again!! If I could give you zero stars I would!!!

I rescued my dog a year ago and she became very aggressive to strangers thinking she was protecting me. I got to the point where I was terrified to bring her around anyone especially children and I knew that one day she would eventually bite someone and I would have to get rid of her. Taylor was amazing and constantly sent pics and videos to keep me updated on my puppy. After 2 weeks of her being in Taylor’s care, she came home very obedient and still my happy sweet puppy. She was terrified of Taylor when she first met her but now she is so comfortable with her and is showing that outside of Taylor’s house. I would definitely recommend Through the Leash!

We got an 8 week old hound puppy from a local rescue in November 2019. We have had dogs in the past but never a hound and had no idea what we were in for. Ten months and 52 pounds later, we have been to puppy classes and through 2 trainers, have holes in every cushion on our sofa, chewed rugs and chewed holes in the wall. We were finally to a point of desperation and contacted the rescue where we got him to ask what we could do. He is very sweet and lovable but extremely stubborn and destructive. They sent a team from Through the Leash to evaluate our dog and the rest is history. After working with his trainer Taylor, he is a new dog. He sits and stays on his spot when we eat and no longer tries to take the food from our plates. Our home is much more peaceful with less chaos. I used P.J with my first dog, BTW she is perfect now. So when I got my rescue, who is a Mastiff poodle year and 1/2 I naturally called Through the Leash. I dealt with John and Martha. I used the board and train, and she came back trained! We have 14 acres, no invisible fence. Both dogs come when I call them, don't leave our yard. I have had my French bull dog (tony) for about 2 years and I did not have complete control over him especially with walking him through the neighborhood. He would always try and get away from me like he was leading the way. John and Erica have provided me and my dog with great training at my own home. They are teaching me how to appropriately handle my dog and reinforce the training provided. And it is all done without treats or physical pain to the dog. My dog went from lunging at other dogs, cars and people to walking very calmly with only minor incidents in just one month. A huge improvement. I highly recommend this training!
