Losing our elderly dog, Wally, was incredibly difficult, and from the very beginning they treated us with so much kindness, compassion, and empathy.Their prices were very affordable, but what truly stood out was the amount of love and care they put into Wally. When we picked him up, I was honestly touched by the presentation and the incredible attention to detail. You could tell that he had been treated with dignity and respect, and that they understood he wasn’t “just a dog”; he was a deeply loved member of our family.During such a heartbreaking time, having someone handle Wally with that level of care meant more to us than I can put into words. After losing my cat Moose of 11 years suddenly and unexpectedly I started the dreaded journey of researching cremation options for my baby. As this was my first time loosing a pet I did a quick google search and I came across this company. From the first phone call to the minute I picked up Moose’s remains Chris was professional and sympathetic. He has a very calming and reassuring demeanor that made me feel at ease during such a hard time. I feel Chris and his team really care about what they do and I wasn’t just another customer to them. They were extremely reasonably priced and their options for cremation boxes were great. I absolutely loved that they also gave me some of his fur and an ink nose and paw print at no additional charge. Also the clay paw print turned out amazing. I cried once I picked everything up due to how beautiful everything was and now I have a piece of my baby forever. I am so glad I brought my dog to this place to be cremated, they did such a good job. And when I picked my dog up, I couldn't believe there was a little bottle with her hair, and it broke me down. That is a really good place to Take your dog to be cremated. Even got a plastered heart with her paw print in it

We lost Gabby, our 20 year old Ragdoll cat unexpectedly. We called the Bakersfield Pet Crematory and made the necessary arrangements. They were very compassionate, kind and respectful at this very difficult time. We were grateful we did not have to send her out of town for this service. They handled the loss of our beloved kitty exceptionally well and with compassion. When we received her remains there was a sympathy card as well as a vial filled with our kitties fur which were both unexpected and very much appreciated. Losing a pet is an incredibly traumatic experience, & calling around for cremation services an hour after ours passed left us feeling frustrated by the apathy of so many places. That all changed when we called Bakersfield Pet Crematory. Chris, the owner, answered the phone & was immediately sympathetic. He understood how awful it is to deal with uncaring businesses while grieving. He shared his own experience with his K9 & explained that he started this business specifically to provide a better, more compassionate experience for pet owners in this difficult situation.He was extremely professional, empathetic, & quick. We actually drove an hour & a half & paid more just to come here, simply because we refused to let our pet's final arrangements be tainted by the poor service at closer options. Chris & his team took beautiful care of her. They included an imprint of her feet (they also offered one of her face, which we opted out of due to not being able to handle that emotionally, but I’m sure other owners would love the option), along with feathers from her tail, wings, & cheeks. Chris also sat down with us to carefully customize her urn, helping us choose the perfect font, color, & engraved angel wings. I cannot recommend Chris & his business highly enough, thank you for providing such caring & quality service during a difficult time.

Just want to thank Chris and his staff for doing the cremation on our pet rat Charlie. The whole process was very easy going and only took about 3 business days for us to get the ashes and urn back along with some paw & nose prints. This place was such a comfort. Thank you Chris. We tragically lost our old lady Layla last March and it was wonderful to have somewhere local to honor her with dignity. Chris was kind and very understanding throughout the process and is definitely doing this for all the right reasons. We still miss her, but that kids have a beautiful urn with a picture to bring her up and send her heavenly love. We are very grateful.

I was crying when we drove up with my best friend in a little cardboard box. Chris greeted us right away and was super friendly and made the whole process a lot less painful than I thought it would be. Cooper, the dog, was there and he definitely helped too, he’s a very big gentle giant and playful and I’m glad I was able to meet them both. It really uplifted my spirits. Chris also took the time to explain the cremation process and showed us the shop where I dropped off Spunky. When I left, I felt assured she was in good hands and would be treated with care and dignity, I also felt in better spirits when we left, at least for a little while. I’m still grieving after having Spunky by my side for 16 years but having her remains at least, and the mementos BPC provided bring me a lot of comfort. Regarding their prices, you just can’t beat them and I was so grateful for the results when I went to pick her up and bring her home again. Thank you so much for your services!

Our sweet lola passed away out of the blue. The vet sent her over to bakersfield pet cremation, we expected to receive just her ashes.
