The electrician was friendly, knowledgeable, fair, and on time. I was having trouble with a DIY outlet replacement that kept short circuiting. He diagnosed the problem right away and provided a solution. He actually wasn't going to charge me for the visit if i fixed the issue he pointed out myself. I decided to have him fix it since he was there. He was kind enough to offer me a reduced price. Much appreciated Bryan. I would definitely recommend their services.

Where do I start?On Mother's Day morning, we suddenly lost all power to our garage. There was no obvious cause, and after troubleshooting on my own, I couldn't figure out how to fix it. While on the way to brunch with my wife and daughter, I called Plugz Electric on a Sunday. They answered within a couple of rings and had me scheduled for a service visit by Tuesday.Less than 48 hours later, a technician was at my door.We started by walking through the garage to assess the issue. Given that my home was built in 1911 and much of the original wiring had been installed by a previous owner, I knew this wasn't going to be a simple repair. We then inspected the electrical panel in the basement and uncovered several additional issues. Everything was explained thoroughly and clearly. While I had been aware of some of the concerns, nobody is exactly excited about spending a small fortune on electrical work.The team presented me with multiple options, ranging from simply making everything safe and operational to fully updating and correcting the identified issues. Initially, I approved the garage repairs and wanted to discuss the basement work with my wife before making a final decision. After considering everything, we decided to move forward with the comprehensive solution for both the garage and basement.The next day, the crew was back and working hard to restore power to the garage. Throughout the project, every technician and representative I interacted with was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and respectful. I never once felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking questions or checking on the progress in my own home.During the basement work, we discovered a wiring issue where certain lights would turn on while others turned off, depending on which switch was flipped. What I assume was their master electrician and I actually shared a laugh about it. As we worked through the project, we also realized that a few installations I had originally requested had been overlooked during planning. They acknowledged the oversight immediately, returned the next day, corrected everything, and completed the additional work without issue. It was an honest mistake, and they handled it the right way.Beyond the quality of their work, the crew was simply great to have around. They played with my dog, waved to my curious 20-month-old daughter watching from the window, and consistently worked efficiently and professionally.I would highly recommend Plugz Electric to anyone looking for honest, high-quality electrical work. I have just purchased this house and was sick to discover the central A/C unit was fried. I did the research and found Plugz...glad I did!!! They came over same day for estimate and was the most reasonable estimate I got. I was hoping to get the unit before Summer comes in...despite it being a holiday weekend this past week, they showed up early, next day ( friday) and installed a new unit. Drew and Brandon came and worked for 2 1/2 days changing out 100 amp circuit box to a 200 amp circuit box in one room and changing out 100 amp in another room. They worked very hard together accomplished a lot in a couple of days and were the nicest fellas to work with and Bryan, who came the first day to give me a bid with equally friendly and very helpful. The bed was very reasonable compared to others I had.
