Another update! Sept 28/26I've been going to AIM for over 2 years now. It's the only gym program that I have been consistent with. Why? It's the people who make up my gym family!Chad usually runs the small group sessions that I go to and he's wonderful! He's encouraging, supportive and super chill. I feel confident challenging myself knowing that Chad is there to provide the bit of extra support that I need. He also helps me adapt my exercises when needed. Best yet, he lets me do box jumps as an alternative to squats (yessss!!!)I can't say enough good things about being a member at AIM. I'm getting stronger, staying healthy and having fun all at the same time!Another update:Chad has consistently been my small group training coach for months. I can tell that he's found his groove which is awesome!! He always creates an encouraging and welcoming environment, which is the big reason why I keep coming back for more abuse...I mean training! Keep up the great work, Chad!!Update:Trevor is amazing! Even in a small group training setting, I still get the attention of a one on one trainer. Trevor does a great job modifying the exercises to challenge me and to accommodate my previous injuries. Trevor is such a supportive coach who give me the push I need to get stronger!========I've been working out with Jake and Ethan 3 mornings per week with the small group classes for about a month now. Here's what I've noticed so far:- the lower back pain and stiffness that has plagued me for more than two years is gone!- the pain I was feeling from excessive sitting in my job has eased.- my hamstrings are less tight.- my weak shoulder can handle a lot more.I've tried doing workouts at home on my own to save $$, but I often ended up more sore or, worse yet, in pain because I didn't do something right. Consistency was also an issue. I could always come up with a reason why I had something better to do.With AIM's small group schedule, I have no excuses. Thanks to Jake and Ethan, I have done things I would never try at home, like 50lbs kettlebell squats, 35lbs rows, 30lbs arm presses, or 95lbs deadlifts.Investing in your physical health is so important. It means more than just taking vitamins, supplements, green powders, probiotics, etc... As an added bonus, your mental health will improve as well! Also, note that I'm turning 50 next year. It's never too late to start. No excuses!I'm loving what AIM has done for me and my husband. Thank you so much, Jake, Ethan and AIM!
