What a gem of a rural caravan park and the added bonus of a general store onsite and the local pub next door. Loved our stay over the Australia Day long weekend. Great space, lots of room, large campsites and all the essentials and beautiful nature & trees to provide lovely shade. Long Creek which runs along the length of the property (at the rear), go gold panning (gold panning kits available at the office) in the creek and loads of space for the kids to run, play and ride bikes etc. Lovely couple running the show, great memorabilia of the Gold Rush era with a wonderful supportive rural community vibe. Different accomodation options on offer from camping, caravan, cabins and even a converted train carriage, so stunning. Situated 35-45mins from Hill End about the same to Mudgee, a fabulous place to stay and explore this charming rural region. We look forward to coming back to visit again in the future for more relaxing in rural NSW.
