What a perfect destination for an overnight or weekly stay! I absolutely adore this place and highly recommend it as your first choice of stay in the region. The rooms are clean and cozy and Bushlands offers a complete experience with its beautiful parkland, excellent amenities, great general store all situated right beside the gorgeous Gold & Fleece Hotel Windeyer. It is within a short drive to Mudgee and other surrounding towns, offering access to all the region has to offer but just enough out of the main town of Mudgee to ensure you have a perfect getaway retreat . We have stayed in the Koala Cabin, the Creekside Cabin and Kookaburra and each were fantastic and excellent value for price. Creekside and Koala allowed us to accommodate more family and friends for our stays, however the gorgeous Koala Cabin is also my personal favorite for a couples retreat. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Stacey who has always helped accommodate our needs on different stays. Just make sure to book well in advance as it is very popular with the town of Windeyer hosting many fun and interesting events during the year. Less
