A glorious 3 night get away for the 2 of us! Nothing to distract from the calm beauty of nature - from the minute we arrived until the minute we left, the staff was exceptional! The cottage was very clean, well maintained and offered us the tranquility that we didnt know we needed until we had it. The food plentiful and high quality. If you are looking to get off the usual grind of the treadmill of life, this is the place! highly recommend this old world charm - great value!

The Loughborough Inn stay was fantastic! It has everything you would want for a fishing trip. The staff is stellar and very friendly. The cabin we stayed in (Bayview) has been renovated, as well as many of the others. The Inn provides your Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and they were great. The Marina has all the rental boats you need for fishing. If you are looking for a great fishing destination, Loughborough Inn is your place to go.

Went for 2 nights with a few friends, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had the Bayview, one of the older 3 bedroom cottages. It was clean, well equipped, and comfortable. We also rented one of the pontoon boats for the day and had a fabulous time, swimming, fishing, and just cruising around the lake. Perfect for what we were looking for.

We've been traveling to Loughborough Inn from NJ every year for 20 years (minus Covid). I absolutely love it there. If you are looking for peace, quiet, beauty, views, and sunsets to die for, this is the place for you. We've stayed in different accommodations, but primarily stick with either a 2 bedroom lakeview cabin or the one bedroom log chalet. The log chalets are gorgeous, but further back from the lake. They have a huge porch and a jacuzzi. The lakeview and lakeside cabins are a little less luxurious, but all have air conditioning and full kitchens (except Maples). We take advantage of the meal plan because the food is fantastic and plentiful and the dining room is a great place to socialize with other guests. It's like being home, but someone else does all the cooking! Fishing is phenomenal on the lake and you can rent a boat at the marina, or bring your own. Just be sure to get a map that indicates where the rocks are, or you will be buying a new propeller! Data is fine, internet is just ok. But you'll not want to be in touch with the rest of the world, since it's so relaxing just being there. Besides fishing, there is an outdoor heated pool, kayaks, hydro bikes, volleyball, a kids' play ground, outdoor chess, etc. There's also a really cool nature trail through the woods. If you are looking for a place to relax, reset, make new friends, and just "be", definitely treat yourself to a trip to Loughborough Inn.

Never really been to cottage itself, but it’s a good scenic place to visit, I visited during fall when everything was closed and all the area was empty, honestly I go for lake view only, the place is overall very nice and lovely and views are good and it makes a short drive from the city so a win win. The two ponds on the way were so pretty and actually prettier than the main lake itself. I always go back here when I want to have a quiet drive with pretty views.

The four of us truly enjoyed the Inn, the lake, pool (& pool table), pickle ball court, the kayaks and 'bicycle boat' ( 1 brave guy). We walked some of the trails; more would be good. The cabin, the food and particularly the staff were all wonderful. Highly recommend this gem!

We had a great time with the family. We rented two lakefront cottages for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The sunsets were gorgeous and there were tonnes of activities to keep everyone busy. The cottages were spotless and the activity areas were well maintained. We will return!

A wonderful relaxing getaway, beautiful scenery to enjoy while sitting by the lake. The Inn is extremely well kept and very clean. The staff are very friendly and most accommodating. Looking forward to a return visit. In our opinion this resort is a “hidden gem”

Been coming to the Inn with friends for a fishing trip for the past 6 years and we’re never disappointed. It’s so good that me and friend come back for a fall trip also, already got one booked for October. We stay in the square log cabins and you couldn’t ask for better accommodations. 2 Bedroom, 2 bath, living room with a fireplace, and a full kitchen with a seating area. It also has a screen room to relax in after a day on the water. The food this past trip was excellent, and you never leave the dining room hungry. The fishing is always great with 2 to 4lb bass plentiful, with an occasional 5lber thrown in. The lake is absolutely beautiful with plenty of islands and coves to fish. Just be careful of the rocks around the islands. Bad for props, but great for fish structure. The staff from the front desk to the waitresses to the cleaning staff are all friendly and will do everything to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

This was a multi-generational family getaway celebrating a combined 150 years. We all enjoyed our stay immensely. Our square cabin was spacious and very well-appointed. The food was all-Canadian, plentiful (one of us was a 20-year old male), and delicious. The grounds are well/tended and staff were friendly and helpful. We made use of the lovely pool, bocce, pickleball, and shuffleboard. We watched the Solstice sunset from “the point” overlooking the lake. We walked through the woods. Our only wish is that there were more extensive hiking trails.

I have been going to the Loughborough Inn twice a year for the last few years and have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean, the staff is great, the food is good and the fishing is terrific. This is my go to place when fishing in Canada. The square log cabins are the best, plenty of room for four people.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME I have been going to the Loughborough Inn for 46 years. During that time there have been many changes, but always with an eye toward enhanced accommodation for the guests. New cabins were built and older cabins totally renovated. The cabins now offer a clean, comfortable, relaxing facility in which to enjoy the lake experience. This, coupled with the food, which is restaurant quality, makes for a perfect vacation. The Inn also has a beautiful marina which is first rate. It offers a full range of boating services, including rentals and storage. I speak first hand as they have maintained my boat for the past 22 years. Finally, and maybe most importantly, the staff at Loughborough Inn treat everyone like family. They all go out of their way to make your visit memorable. I highly recommend the Inn as it truly is my home away from home. Bill Laraia

Once again a wonderful time at he Loughborough Inn. Lots of activities for children and adults on land and water. Great place to escape and relax on the well kept property. Very friendly and attentive staff. Looking forward to returning next year.

This is a beautiful place and we overall enjoyed our stay. The food was amazing and most of the staff were friendly. However, there is a glitch when you book online, where you must choose your accommodation (ie. name of cottage/cabin) before continuing, but when you check in, you can be given any accommodation. We didn't get what we thought we had booked and were instead given a smaller cottage, while the one we wanted sat empty for the duration of our stay. Also, the photos of the cottages on their website do not all match the actual cottage (the online photos of our cottage were actually of the bigger cottage, not ours!). This issue could have easily been resolved with us, but unfortunately the manager was unwilling to acknowledge/address the problem. We highly recommend dealing with Haneia at the front desk if possible, as she was so friendly, listened and empathized with our concerns, and did her best to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

The rooms are very clean. They are what they are little cottages on the lake . Honestly the couches and chairs need to be updated.. But everything else is great. The service people that clean the cottages do an amazing job. We had the meal packages. They were training a lot of new staff so there were a few hiccups, but the food was very good only complaint is it took a little while to get our food during the breakfast hours. But still place is outstanding we will be back.
