Rarely do I write letters of this sort, but in this case I feel I am compelled to do so.I am the former CEO of a New York Management and Consulting Company as well as a Real Estate Agent in SW Florida. I was comfortably successful as an Investment Real Estate Broker. That all changed in September 2022 when Hurricane Ian decimated our region. The local devastation, and subsequently the insurance companies leaving the state without paying legitimate claims, forced my investors to disperse. Their departure left me in a precarious financial position. I had to try to re-invent my career at age 73.
