SO glad we found Bourbon Springs RV Resort!!! We booked our Kentucky stay at a different campground originally but were completely disappointed when we arrived and stayed a few days (Jellystone Mammoth Cave, don't waste you time there) instead come here!! Campground is very new, pool will be completed in 2 weeks, but this place is very nice and quite! Have pickleball courts and fishing pond. Sites are gravel but are very well maintained. We will be staying here again for sure when we travel thru Kentucky! Added bonus, if your into motocross like us then this place is where it's at!! This used to be a motocross track and owners, which are SUPER nice, are into riding and racing, races are on the TV at the clubhouse during the weekends! Close enough to town but far enough to have peace and quite!

Wonderful new RV Resort! Peaceful and quiet with beautiful scenery. Lots of long sites so definitely big rig friendly. Lots of pull thrus so easy in and out. Friendly family that owns it. As of June 2026 the pool, pool showers and dog wash are still under construction. Sites are gravel and most appear to not be level (ours wasn’t) so bring your jack pads. We would definitely return though!

We stayed in our RV, so no room experience to comment on. This place is huge though. One of very few campgrounds we've been to in the U.S. with plenty of room to maneuver our 43' 5th wheel without a single issue. And it's wide open and quiet.

⭐⭐⭐⭐Overall, we had a really good stay at Bourbon Springs RV Resort. The resort was peaceful, clean, and relaxing, and the few staff members we met were very nice and friendly. The only downside was that there were barely any employees around most of the time, so getting help could be difficult. We never even received the bathroom code at check-in and had to ask another guest for it because no staff were available.Another thing to know is the location. Even though it’s called “Bourbon Springs,” most of the major distilleries were still a pretty long drive away. Jim Beam was about 30 minutes away, Wild Turkey was around an hour, and Angel’s Envy was about an hour and a half. We expected things to be a little closer based on the name. There also wasn’t a whole lot to do at the resort itself.Even with those issues, we still enjoyed the stay overall and appreciated how kind the workers were when we did see them.

Nice, new, full hookup campground that can easily accommodate big rigs with a convenient location to explore the Bourbon Trail and Louisville area. Quite a few pull throughs. All sites are gravel with picnic tables and fire pits. Nice grassy areas for the pups. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby if needed.The owners are incredibly kind, helpful and knowledgeable about the area - we can’t say enough good things about them!!

Gorgeous new resort in a great location. Owners are onsite and so helpful and friendly. The sites themselves are sized well with great hookups. The resort is well off of busy roads but only a few minutes to conveniences. Everything is new and clean.We look forward to another trip!

We had such an amazing experience at Bourbon Springs RV Resort! The facility is absolutely beautiful and packed with fun amenities that made our stay so enjoyable. Everything was clean, relaxing, and thoughtfully put together. Our kids can’t wait to come back with the pool is complete and the playground. They had an amazing time fishing and playing games! We came down to stay for a softball tournament at ETown Sports Park, it was just a short drive to everything!What truly made this place stand out though were the owners. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, always responding quickly and kindly to any request. When we ended up with a flat tire, they even helped us with a patch, something they absolutely didn’t have to do, but it speaks volumes about the kind of people they are.Their hospitality, generosity, and attention to detail made us feel so welcomed. We can’t recommend Bourbon Springs RV Resort enough and are already looking forward to coming back!

Wow—what an incredible stay! We honestly didn’t want to leave. For a brand new campground that’s still being finished, this place already feels like a top tier resort. Every moment was enjoyable, and you can tell big things are coming. What a FANTASTIC RV PARK! Everything was built to the highest quality, the spaces are large, flat and have beautiful views of the Kentucky grasses. Nice Park for walking. Great facilities, SUPER CLEAN, great laundry facilities, 3 PICKLEBALL COURTS, and an awesome gym for working out. We came for the Kentucky Derby, just a short 30 minutes to Churchill Downs. Amazing OWNER/HOST! Attention to detail in every aspect of the park. Amazon delivers here, that’s a plus! We’ll be back again for sure.

We had a wonderful time staying here for three nights, and we would have loved to extend our stay! Unfortunately we had to move on. This is a relatively new RV park, but it has already become a beautiful destination. There are three pickleball courts, a fantastic clubhouse, and what appears to be a beautiful pool that will be completed soon. The dog park is probably one of the best I’ve ever seen, with a very large and spacious area. All the sites are spacious, with picnic tables and fire pits. We highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

This is an absolute gem! It’s a beautiful property in Elizabethtown, KY that was once the owner’s farm. They’ve put their heart and soul into it and it shows. The cleanliness and atmosphere of the resort is top notch. I highly recommend Bourbon Springs!

Great place run by dedicated owners. Christy and Andy have clearly invested real effort into building something meaningful, and it shows in how well the property is maintained and operated.The location is a strong advantage—central to many bourbon distilleries and convenient to big box shopping. Fort Knox is adjacent, adding to the area’s appeal and accessibility.The campsites are large, gravel-based with a solid foundation. They’re properly graded for drainage and generally level, though minor leveling adjustments may be needed. Utility hookups are well-positioned—no extensions required.Amenities are a strong point. The clubhouse is pleasant and inviting, with comfortable seating, bright natural light, and thoughtful home-style touches. A camp store is in development inside. The clubhouse also includes a nice laundry, a small workout gym, and clean, well-finished restrooms and showers. Additional features include an outdoor gas fire pit, TV area, pickleball court, and a large patio chess board. A pool is under construction and expected soon. Access roads and site pads are paved and easy to navigate.They offer two dog parks: one for small dogs and a large, roughly 1/4-acre area for all breeds. The larger park has rolling terrain, secure fencing, and mature trees that provide shade.I would return without hesitation if I’m back in the area. Worth the stop.

We traveled to Louisville for a concert and found Bourbon Springs RV Park on a Google search. This place was amazing and the staff over the top. They have pickle ball courts, 2 dog parks, in process of installing in ground pool, the main facility that offers laundry, bath house, work out room and a main gathering room are over the top. We are already planning to return in July. We talked with one of the owners and all her suggestions on food and entertainment were spot on!

Spent a week on the Bourbon Trail for our 1st trip post my retirement. Stayed at Bourbon Springs RV Resort and it was amazing. The owners were fantastic and the property although not complete yet is shaping up to be a primer place to set up for your adventures in bourbon country. Once word gets out about this place it will be hard to get in I would imagine.The owners are fantastic and the communication is top tier. We had a welcome text and email with detailed instructions for everything we needed to know regarding setting up and again on departure. The recommendations were fantastic for local attractions and regarding whether situations that were approaching, the ownership was on-site for any guest needs, they even opened the clubhouse at midnight for a storm shelter. They seem to go above and beyond now, I can’t imagine how great it will be as they mature into their business.If you get a chance, don’t just go here, run there because there is nowhere else around like it!!!!!!

New campground, great owners, will be great to see the things they hope to complete come through. While there we experienced a tornado and they opened up a shelter, and we had snow and freezing temps! All in one week! Good folks made sure everyone had what they needed to get through it all and attentive to anything needing repair. We will come again :)

Very nice place to stay about 45 minutes outside of Louisville. The owners especially the Mrs. (Can't remember her name) are very responsive and go outta there way to make your stay easy. We had issues with a underground water leak, I let her know and it was fixed by the time we got back. The sites are a decent size and the water pressure is good. There is a brand new club house that just opened with laundry facility and very nice bathrooms with showers, the resort is priced pretty reasonable per night. We are looking forward to staying there again.

We stayed here over Halloween last year. We received an information email the day before prior to arrival with general info and wifi password plus how to pre check in. The morning of arrival, we received another email with specific instructions to not trust GPS and follow their instructions. Our Trip Wizard and Waze GPS instructions actually brought us right to the campground (CG). Since we had pre checked in, we were instructed in the directions email to go directly to deluxe pull-through site 78, where our welcome package would be in the electrical box. The site was plenty long enough for our 40’ toy hauler and F450. Not sure why this is a deluxe site as its gravel with a picnic table and portable fire pit? The utilities were more towards the front of the pad with no issues reaching the connections. It was a nice touch to see a small cement circle pad on the sewer connection. This is a new CG, so amenities like the laundry and gift shop were not opened yet. Water pressure was good. We got 4 bars on Verizon and 3 bars 5G on T-Mobile. We used our T-Mobile Internet versus Starlink. It would not have been an issue to use satellite as there are no mature trees in the campground. They have one large (about 1/4 acre) fenced dog area. The dog park slopes down a hill and connects with a fence that goes around the property. Do not throw small balls down the hill as they can go through the fence and there’s no way to recover the ball due to no openings/gates near by to get to the back of the dog park. There’s also a smaller fenced dog area near the front of the CG. Great customer service before and during our stay.
