Love love LOVE this perfect, family-owned produce stand. A staple for me and my family during the summer! We are from KC but travel to North WI every year and make a point to stop on our way. Isaiah is super friendly and the produce is always top notch, definitely recommend getting something from here! Also, we love all the homemade jams and jellies, which we always break out in our home around the holidays and are a big hit.

I have been a customer of this family every summer, probably as long as they’ve had their stand in Johnston. My granddaughter met Isaiah’s grandfather many years ago and said he was Santa in bib overalls this time of year. Everything I’ve ever purchased from them has been top quality. Wouldn’t go to anyone else.I have friends that drive to their stand because they like it so well & they pass other stands on their way.

Getting fresh veggies and produce from Thesummerharvest is a favorite ongoing summer event! Everything is fresh and delicious. It helps so much to know Isaiah will be there to get fresh wonderful melon corn zuchhini (whatever is currently picked) and even grandma’s preserves!

First of all , this stand has hands down the best produce. It’s absolutely farm grown and it’s totally different from any grocery produce in the whole Des Moines Iowa area. Isaiah has the greatest personality, I always love talking to him about his family. GREAT STAND

Corn was good, watermelon was good, onions were good. The 2 pints of yellow cherry tomatoes were rotten. Maybe about a dozen or so were edible. I didn’t feel like driving all the way back to take them back.

You had.me with the peaches! Then the.green beans, but finally with the yellow watermelon. It was tastier then the red. And I almost forgot about than cantelope. It made my husband start eating fruit again!! When will you have more peaches?
