I've been taking Luke's salsa class to learn the basics and build up my confidence, and it's honestly been a great experience. Luke is a really nice instructor, patient and easy to learn from, even when you're starting from zero. What surprised me the most is how many other guys are in the class. I expected to be one of the few, but it's actually a really welcoming space for men who are just starting out and still working on their foundation. No pressure, no judgment, just people there to learn. He also rotates partners throughout class, which helps a lot since you get to practice with different people and really pick up his steps. Solid class if you're a guy nervous about starting salsa, you're not alone here.

Luke is an amazing salsa instructor! He's incredibly nice and makes everyone feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. What I really appreciate is how he talks about the leader respecting the follower's space — it's a small thing but it makes such a difference in how the dance actually feels. He also rotates partners throughout class so everyone gets a chance to work with him and really see his steps up close. My partner and I drive an hour to get here because it's genuinely worth it — this is one of the few classes that's truly focused on salsa/Latin style, not a watered-down mix. Highly recommend if you're serious about learning!

The class levels are clearly structured, so it's easy to find the right fit and continue progressing. I have been waiting for a school like Mambo Lab for years. The level of competence and professionalism here is one of the highest in the area. What truly sets this school apart is their academic approach to dance; they provide a structured curriculum that ensures real, measurable progression. It finally solves the common issue of students feeling stuck at a specific level, allowing you to actually advance your technical skills.​The class content is incredibly thorough. It prepares you for the entire skill set that a dancer needs, from body movement and styling, to musicality classes—which are almost impossible to find in the area.​Beyond the training, the environment is incredibly warm and welcoming. It does not matter what level you are or they are; everyone is friendly and supportive. The class sizes are perfect—never overcrowded—which ensures you get the attention you need. Plus, the energy in every class is simply amazing.
