Simon and his boys did a great job of fitting composite cladding to the outside of our house. A few problems with scaffolding and suppliers not supplying the cladding when it was due to be delivered at the beginning. However the whole job is now completed and we are very pleased with the result. Our house now looks brilliant and the front is now maintenance free

Simon was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We needed a replacement roof on our lean to, after a recent hail storm caused significant damage to an old polycabonate roof. We were looking for other options, and decided on a warm roof. Great communication throughout, and the job was done quickly. Simon and all of his team were polite and professional. I would highly recommend!

Really impressed- definitely recommend!Simon and Chris did a brilliant job replacing my old lean-to as well as my outbuilding roof. I am really pleased with the service and the results, which are very neatly detailed, clean, and modern. A complete transformation! Southside were reliable, tidy, and communicative, talking through options and finding solutions (despite my limited budget and the complexities of working with an old building)- a delight to work with!

We recently had a new conservatory roof done by this company, we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Simon and his team was highly professional friendly and always kept us informed. We would definitely have Simon back again if we needed anything else to be done, he would go out of his way to make sure we were happy. 10/10 for his service.

We were thinking of changing our polycarbonate conservatory roof as it felt too hot in the summer and a little chilly in the winter, the usual problems associated with a standard conservatory roof. After a walk one sunny day we passed a conservatory with a Guardian Warm Roof which looked really neat and decided to knock and ask the owner who fitted it! Without hesitation he recommended Simon Daniel of Southside Better Roofs. We contacted him, he came out and gave us a quote which was realistic but competitive and included buildings regs a nice bonus! The whole team arrived on the agreed date and they ALL worked incredibly hard and had all the up to date equipment needed to complete the job. They applied a waterproof sheet and coverings to minimise the dirt and completed the job in around 3-4 days as the conservatory is quite big! I would definitely recommend Simon and his team who worked non stop with very few tea/coffee breaks as they wanted to get the job done to a high standard! He is a recommended installer for the Guardian Warm Roof which says it all. A brilliant job and a friendly hardworking team.

We recently had our old plastic conservatory roof replaced with a new roof featuring a skylight window, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Simon and the whole team were fantastic from start to finish.Communication was excellent throughout the process. Before the work even began Simon was incredibly patient and helpful, answering all my questions when I honestly had no idea what I needed with the various roofs on the market. That guidance made a huge difference and gave me real confidence in the decisions we made. The team were always on time, polite, and professional. We felt completely at ease having them working in our home, even when we needed to go out to work etc . We absolutely love the new room—it finally feels like a proper part of the house. We can now use it comfortably in winter, and when it’s heated, it actually retains warmth instead of making the rest of the house feel cold when the door is open.We did get a few other quotes, including one that was slightly cheaper, but we’re so glad we chose to pay a little extra for quality. The finish looks fantastic, and everything has held up perfectly—even through we have had some awful stormy weather, with no leaks at all.The room finally feels fresh and clean , our old roof was constantly getting mould and damp and was so difficult to maintain.Overall, a brilliant experience and a result we’re genuinely delighted with. Highly recommend Simon and the team.

Simon and George have just replaced the facia on our orangery. Simon initially helped us out with a leak and talked us through the options for a more permanent solution. He was very professional and explained the pros and cons of each option well. We were keen for a complete solution so Simon kindly organised and dealt with an electrician as required. We ended up being away whilst the work was undertaken and had no worries on this score- Simon communicated superbly throughout. Simon is now our first point of call for anything similar in the future!

We had our conservatory glass roof removed and solid one installed. From initial visit to completion job was carried out very professionally and on time considering weather delays. No hidden costs and everything to a very good standard. Would recommend them immediately.

Simon and his team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. From my initial contact, Simon was kind, professional, and always happy to answer any questions. I spoke to lots of local suppliers, but Simon was the only one who truly made me feel he had my best interests at heart.Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. Simon kept me fully up to date during the quote, ordering, and installation planning stages — and even continued to do so while he was on holiday, which really shows his dedication. The build itself only took a week and was carried out by a highly skilled team who were all considerate, professional, and a genuine joy to have around. I absolutely love my new warm roof; it has made a huge difference to my living space.I’m so glad I chose Simon and his team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a conservatory roof replacement

Great job from Simon and George. Got rid of our leaky old glass panels and replaced them with this super insulated tiled roof. No more condensation, mould and puddles on the floor after heavy rain. Now the warmest room in the house, feels really cosy. Still plenty of light coming in even though we had just one small skylight fitted. Excellent professional and courteous service, Simon kept us fully up to date with progress at every step of the build. Very competitive price too. Would highly recommend Southside Better Roofs.

What a transformation! My conservatory was just a bit of a dumping ground for the past year after being either hot or cold and just feeling really dull. After it sprung a small leak I had Southside Better Roof come to have a look and couldn’t be happier with the result.Fully insulated roof change and inside plaster boarded to make the room usable, and also new glass in the frames.Looking forward to it drying out and decorating! They come highly recommended from me and was constant graft from day 1 👌🏻Thanks lads
