I was referred to Dr Keith from my primary doctor after a mammogram and an ultrasound came back with a “very suspicious” nodule. Doctor Keith was very thorough throughout my treatment. Luckily this “suspicious” nodule came back benign but still needed to be removed. She did a wonderful job on my surgery and within a week there was very minimal pain. A few years ago we moved down here from New York. I had looked up doctor’s office that took our insurance and set up our appointments. I had neglected my yearly mammogram with Covid and all, so the doctor’ nurse set me up with an appointment at Premier; needless to say they called me back for further evaluation which then led to a biopsy and unfortunately that came back cancerous. Having had lost my mom to breast cancer few years prior I was beating myself up having missed a few yearly mammos and now how do I proceed not knowing any doctors here as it was only two months since we moved. I had asked the doctor who performed my biopsy; if this was his mom who would he recommend? He suggested I look up Lyndsay Keith, M.D. and my primary care NP had said she also heard good things as well. I also did a google search and saw the reviews and I was impressed with the comments about her bedside manner but to be honest my thoughts were-okay she’s obviously a compassionate person but does she know her stuff, is she up to date on the newest treatments and such. If I were to be making decisions this important I wanted to be confident in her ability and her medical advice.Needless to say I was able to obtain an appointment fairly quickly. From the moment we sat in her conference room and she explained all about my biopsy and lab results and the choices I had, although all that information was so overwhelming, I was put at ease. First with her knowledge and explaining everything clearly so i understood and secondly answering any questions my family and I had regarding my choices and the risk factors and successes of my choices. I felt with her at the helm I was in control and was assured I was going to be able to beat this.I cannot thank her and her support staff enough. I truly believe in finding one’s calling and I know that she found hers.. When I opened the door to this office and step into the room, comfort and relaxing are the two feelings that overcame me. My medical issue has to do with biopsy. The atmosphere that I walked into helped relieve the stress I had been experiencing ever since I heard the word biopsy. The staff was very polite, listening and helping during the intake process. I was quickly taken back to a room by the nurse. She was very helpful in preparing for the visit with the doctor. When Dr. Lindsey Keith came into the office introductions were exchanged. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. Dr. Keith did an amazing job with my right breast mastectomy. She was able to remove ALL the cancer and the scar is barely visible now. With the type of cancer I had, it was possible for it to return in the left breast. A little over a year later, I made the choice , without a second thought, to return to her practice to remove my other breast. The surgery went so well I left the hospital the same day. I believe this is not the normal to be able to do so. I know for a fact that God Almighty placed her in my life to work through her to save my life and others. I would 100% recommend her and her lovely staff for your breast care. She is a true angel on earth with a God given talent.
