I submitted a request online at the Always A Sweep website for a quote to repair my chimney. I received a phone call in less than 30 minutes from Valerie. She was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. She scheduled a technician (Joey) to come to my house to examine my chimney. Joey arrived right on time. He went on the roof and did a careful inspection. He took pictures to show me what he found. Joey prepared three options. I was impressed by Joey’s knowledge, expertise and integrity. Over a year ago we had an actual fire in our dryer unit caused by a clogged vent line. Thankfully the fire didn’t spread beyond the laundry room. We did have to purchase a new dryer, but it could have been so much worse.After the fire we immediately contacted Always A Sweep and Joshua promptly came to our home to perform a video camera inspection inside the line. He revealed how the original exhaust line was completely filled with compacted lint, and the original interior of the metal pipe was severely corroded. He also explained the roof vent was damaged and not per current building code standards.After a thorough cleaning Joshua recommended a full assessment. Joey came to inspect and via a detailed written proposal he recommended that we needed everything replaced from the dryer to the termination vent on our tile roof which we agreed needed to be done.Scott and Tyler arrived on time, and worked tirelessly in very tight space to do all of the work necessary to replace the old line with a brand new one. Like the business owners, Scott and Tyler are both highly skilled, very professional, polite, and considerate. Throughout the work they kept us informed and afterwards they did a thorough cleaning.This company is outstanding in every respect, including their office support staff person Valerie who did an excellent job thoroughly communicating and following up to inform us of the company plans and schedules. I highly recommend their services to everyone to ensure your home remains clean and safe.Today (June 23, 2026), James the Technician promptly arrived on time, and expertly performed the dryer, vent line and termination cleaning.
