Our sunday dinner was good but PRICEY.Wish calamari was as described in other reviews as flaky and soft but it was a standard calamari, nothing stood out unfortunately.The paella was good but lacking in lobster. There were more mussels than clams but both were tasty. Unfortunately the amount of shrimp was lacking for a $60 plate.The other 2 dishes were great with the bistec and chicken respectively.Our waitress was attentive and receptive to our requests, wish I knew her name to state it here.Overall, a good experience. Again the cost is a stinger but what can we as customers navigating for good food expect in 2026, the lights must be kept on.Please give this restaurant a chance, even the music took me back to a younger time in my life.Thank you for feeding me and my family.

This was our first visit to Casa Mia since it was an Italian restaurant. Now it is a Latin cuisine establishment. They have very nice outdoor seating if you are looking for Al fresco dining. Interior was nice, simple and easily navigable. I ordered an Old Fashioned made with Bulleit bourbon. While it was acceptable, I think it was not made with simple syrup. An appetizer was the Crispie Calamari, and that it was. Batter was light and crispy and the calamari was cooked just right. Not like chewing rubber bands in some places. These were crispy and tender. Two entrees were Pernil de La Casa which is slow cooked pulled pork served with rice and beans maduros and a red garlic monitor sauce. The other entree was a Seafood Paella which is a medley of plump shrimp, tender muscles, succulent calimari.and lobster srved over saffron infused rice. Both dishes were excellently prepared and plated. We also ordered a side order of Maduros which ere cooked to perfection and as sweet as would be expected.So of you are traveling Rt 211 in Middletown, give some thought to stopping at the corner of 211 and Goshen Turnpike for some very tasty Latin cuisine. They also have live entertainment.

Excellent experience! We highly recommend Casa Mia for an enjoyable meal and relaxing and tropical atmosphere. We had salmon tropical and ropa vieja. The salmon with mango sauce over mashed potatoes was delicious! Tender moist salmon over fresh mashed potatoes was an excellent combination. My husband had ropa vieja with yellow rice, black beans and plantains. He said the tips vieja was well-seasoned like Cuban food. We ate outside and in the evening they have lights and a fire pit and I imagine that the ambiance is very romantic and reminds one of an evening in the Caribbean.

I did my daughter's Grad Party here and we had 51 people show up. It was awesome. Food was great, everyone complimented the food. We were able to use their Bluetooth speaker for music and their TV screens for screensavers or slideshows. We decorated the tables and had a balloon arch. David, the owner, was a great host and really made us feel at home. Told us we could stay longer and enjoy the atmosphere when their DJ came in. The DJ even asked us what music we wanted to hear. The experience was awesome and I would definitely do an event again there.

I came here for a birthday dinner! Had Shy as a waitress, she was patient and so accommodating for the group of 12! Food was delicious, I had shrimp scampi with white rice because I’m a picky eater but it was absolutely phenomenal! Christina took care of us after check out as we stayed well beyond dinner hours! Overall 10/10 experience will be coming back ASAP

While visiting Middletown, NY came across this gem. The food was delicious while dinning outdoors with an amazing spicy margarita and empanadas. The peril was different than what I am used to but flavor was amazing. Will definitely visit again when in town and craving Latin food.

The food is always good here ..If the owner reads this i have one complaint the TRESLECHE cake it was so sweet like the cook put 1 pound of sugar in 1 slice no exaggeration, it was not edible.That's how sweet it was. Also the milk didn't seem like 3 milks to me. It seemed like it was 1 milk carnation milk mixed with sugar no thickness no creamy taste or nothing. The cake consistency was perfect.But once again, over sweetened, I suggest you get you a slice and talk to the chef or baker
