Dr Schelin approach to chiropractic care is very different than your normal chiropractor. In the past chiropractors have adjusted me the same way every time giving me very little to no relief and sometimes leaving me sore. But not Dr Schelin his gentle approach is very different he focuses more on your Atlas or c2 vertebrae. I have been dealing with back pain for years and have been to many back drs and chiropractors with no relief. I am about 80 percent better and I have not even been here a month. I still have some days where I have pain and discomfort but it has been reduced greatly. Also Wendy is very welcoming. The atmosphere and experience compared to what I have experienced in the past is a game changer. When first came here I had been dealing with a serve shoulder pain, shortness of left leg and continuous back pain from moderate scoliosis. Western medicine Drs had suggested 2 major surgeries to heal the pain. But not Dr. Season, he created a journey plan for me which I was comfortable with in order the initiate my healing process. Over time with the adjustments Dr. Season was able to guide my healing. Have you ever tweaked your back so that it is almost bearable with OTC medication and the distraction of work during the day, but then less so when you are supposed to be sleeping? I have and after nearly a month of Advil and heating pad band-aids I found myself looking for a chiropractor near me. Familiar with what chiropractic care can do I had only one objective in mind and that was to remove the 'extra' pain from my plate so I could get back to dealing with the familiar. I have suffered with migraines for the better part of my life (saying 'better' seems ironic) and this new pain in my back/shoulder was adding to the stress on my body, depriving me of sleep and increasing the amount of migraines I could count on. I first started seeing Dr. Schelin about a year ago. I had recently gotten in a car accident and it completely messed up my lower back; the diagnosis was 2 herniated disc and floating bone in my back. I couldn't get up from a chair without help, trying to get dressed every morning was a task, and I would pray that I didn't have to pick anything off of the floor. I had seen multiple orthopedic surgeons, and went through all of the prior steps (medication, therapy, injections) and the final step was spinal surgery. As a lot of people would be, I was reluctant to get back surgery and was searching high and low for other options. I am 18 years old with a passion for the gym and being healthy overall. Prior to being adjusted by Dr. Schelin's magical touch my passion for the gym had come to an abrupt halt. I had this pain in my lower back and didn't know what to do about it. It stopped me from doing what I loved.
